SCHOLARS CUP
in

KANSAI
FOUNDED IN 2007, THE WORLD SCHOLARS
Cup brings together over 20,000 students in 50 coun-
tries every year. Our goal: to inspire in young people of
all backgrounds a love of learning, a confidence in new
skills, and a sense of global citizenship.
In collaboration with Osaka International School,
the World Scholars Cup is pleased to invite you to our
next local round in Kansai, to be held on April 29-30th,
2017.
Teams of students will participate in four events:
Team Debate, Collaborative Writing, Scholars Chal-
lenge, and Scholars Bowl.
Topics of exploration, from moonshot technology
and the history of conspiracy to the science (and art) of
prediction, will be drawn from this years World Schol-
ars Cup theme, An Unlikely World.
HOST SCHOOL Osaka International Scholars will have the chance to qualify for the 2017
School Global Round of their choice in Hanoi, Athens, or
DATE April 29-30 Cape Town, and, in due course, for the Tournament
of Champions at Yale University in the United States.
AGES 10-14 (Jr.); 15+ (Sr.) We cannot wait to welcome you and your students
