Empowered Learner- by students creating their own digital binder it empowers them to be organized
and keep any material they deem important
Digital Citizen-students will have to use their judgement and what you’ve taught them to maintain
their digital binder while also adhering to their digital citizenship guidelines

Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

Livebinder allows student to create and maintain a virtual notebook with all their notes, videos, papers,
and anything else they need for school without having to carry a huge binder around.

How might you use this resource in a lesson plan to promote student-centered learning?
I would promote the use of Livebinder by using digital worksheets and assignments as well as notes so
that students can add them to their virtual binders which also saves paper! I would also keep a scanner
in the classroom so that if any work was done in class they could scan it to their email.

 Based on the “value-added rating scale” above, how would you rate the technology integration
you described, using the selected resource? 2
 Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators. Although Livebinder is cool for saving paper
and avoiding carrying around big heave notebooks to every class it does not transform the lesson
in a way that could not be done without it. It would however enhance the lesson and support
mastery of the concepts because students could jump on line and access any of their notes or
assignments at any time.
