GATHERING

As we enter into the sanctuary let us do so with awe and reverence and a sense of expectation that we
are entering into the presence of the living God.

Prelude

Welcome and Announcements Reece deKramer
Lighting of Candles Ethan deKramer

*Greeting
One: We no longer live, but Christ lives in us and we in Christ
All: Each morning new hearts beat with new love
One: We breathe in fresh grace and new life, progressively free from the power of Sin
All: We gather at God’s own table, and gain strength from this heavenly meal

Hymn UMH 327 “Crown Him with Many Thorns”
*
Opening Prayer:
Wise God, you are still creating new each day.
Through your wisdom all life grows, develops, and matures
and may it be with our souls as well.
Mold us ever more into your Image
that we may more perfectly know your love and share it with others.
In the name of the one who made us, redeemed us, and gives us new life we pray,
Amen.
