In this project I was asked to


choose a topic that is about the
future and use a type system to
create a book. Therefore, I picked
the the Future of Typography
as my topic and showed the
audience what could be the typo-
graphic trends in the future.

There are four chapters in this


book: The Era of Typography,
Miniscule Tuned, Micro
Evolution, and Dramatic Typogra-
phy. These four chapters talk
about the history, forecast, evolu-
tion, and insight into the world
of typography.

This project was assigned in the


Visual Thinking class. The assign-
ment was to find a problem in
everyday life for which I could
create a simple solution. First,
I researched a variety of issues
people face in daily life and nar-
rowed it down to the five most
critical. Out of those five, I chose
non-equipment workout as my
topic. I created a brand called
UrbanFit and developed a mobile
application, website, and poster
that would enable people to
exercise in a variety of simple
ways, without equipment, anytime
and anywhere. I selected a topic,
identified its appropriate audience
and stakeholders, then found,
created, and implemented compel-
ling visual elements in a variety
of media that work together as

a cohesive system.

This project was assigned


in my Type Experimental class
in the Spring of 2015. The
assignment was to use 3D types
to create a series of meaningful
and enjoyable posters about
a piece of architecture of my
choosing. I chose to create
a series of posters that related
to the theme of "stadium"
using industrial design materials
that included 3D printing and
laser cut. For the background,
I chose three surface textures:
a rubber track, a grass field,
and a concrete walkway. 03

This project was assigned in my


Type Composition class in the
Spring of 2014. I was asked to
choose a font that was largely
unknown to the audience and
design a booklet to promote it.

I chose to introduce the font


Burlingame. Burlingame is
a digital media font so it is a
good fit to represent video
games. In order to express its
digital style, I adjusted the
scales, elements, and colors
to exhibit the characteristics
of this font. 04

In this project I was asked to


look for a dead or dying brand
that I can rebrand into a new,
fresh, and successful line. It will
include the branding strategy,
new visual guides, a business
system, and a website. I did a
lot of research in order to gain
a better understanding of how
to create a new strategy for the
project. This involved discove-
ring the soul of the new brand,
a rebranding objective, and a
fresh mission statement.
The soul of the new Panam is
cultural exchange, and it
focuses on helping people to
explore many different new
cultures. Therefore, I picked
"culture", "exchange", and
"colorful" to be the keywords.
