INSTRUCTIONAL PLAN Lesson Title: Counting is Fun Teacher s Name: Miss Atiqah bt Hj Din Grade: Year 2 Content Area: Numbers and Animals Lesson Length: 50 minutes Analyze Learners Number of Students: 24 students Age Range: 8 years old Current Knowledge: Students already learn about numbers in Mathematics subject. Mathematical Skills: Counting 11 to 20. State Objectives General Learning Objective (s): Students should be able to know more about numbers. Specific Learning Objective (s): At the end of this lesson, students should be able to: a) count numbers from 11 to 20 b) spell and pronounce number 11 to 20 c) Count the objects in the slide show. Select Media, Materials and Methods a) Video a lively video contains the spelling and pronunciation of the numbers. b) Slide show colorful pictures to be counted by the students. Utilize Media, Materials and Method a) Students will listen to the video provided by the teacher. b) The students will try to understand the video. c) The students will count the objects in the slide show.

Require Learners Participation a) Teacher will ask students to count from 11 to 20. b) Teacher asks students to pronounce and spell the numbers. c) Teacher will call some students to come in front and count the number of the objects in the slide show. Evaluate and Revise The teacher will give the students some exercises to test their understanding.

INSTRUCTIONAL PLAN Lesson Title: Liza s Family Teacher s Name: Miss Nur Sabrina Zafiran bt Mohd Jamil Grade: Year 2 Content Area: Family Members Lesson Length: 50 minutes Analyze Learners Number of Students: 24 students Age Range: 8 years old Current Knowledge: Students are familiar with some of the vocabularies and know how to draw a family tree. State objectives General Learning Objective (s): Students should be able to understand the family tree diagram. Specific Learning Objective (s): By the end of the lesson, the students should be able to: a) Pronounce correctly and understand 7 new vocabularies. b) Paste 6 flash cards on the family tree diagram. c) Ask and answer questions Who is that? Select Media, Materials and Methods a) Picture cards The students will have a clear description of the family members. b) Flash cards A word describing the picture cards. c) Mahjong paper The students will get a clear description of the family tree diagram.

Utilize Media, Materials and Methods a) Teacher shows students the Family Tree Diagram. b) Teacher explains and drills students with 7 new vocabularies using flash cards. c) Teacher asks several students to paste the flash cards on the Family Tree Diagram. Require Learners Participation a) Teacher asks the students to spell the vocabularies such as father, mother and others. b) Teacher asks several students to paste the flash cards on the family tree diagram. Evaluate and Revise Teacher asks students to draw a family tree based on their own family.

State objectives General Learning Objective (s): Students should be able to know more about number 21-30 and pronouns. Specific Learning Objective (s): Students should be able to: a) Write numbers 21 to 30 in words. b) Read a conversation and answer simple questions. c) Use I, you, we, they, he, she, and it . Select Media, Materials and Methods a) Number chart The students will learn numbers easier with graphics. b) Word and number cards c) Substitution table- Gives the students better view of the usage of pronouns. Utilize Media, Materials and Methods a) Teacher uses number chart and asks students to spell the numbers based on the chart. b) Teacher explains the substitution table and asks students to paste word cards on the substitution table. State objectives General Learning Objective (s): Students should be able to know more about the name of food. Specific Learning Objective (s): At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to: a) Spell and pronounce 5 name of food. b) Match the correct word cards and picture cards. c) Rearrange the letters to find out the correct name of the food. Select Media, Materials and Methods a) Manila Cards The short passage is written on the manila card will make the students read better b) Words cards- the word cards will help the students in spelling area. c) Picture cards- Will help the students get the clear view of what have being thought. Utilize Media, Materials and Methods a) Teacher will read the passage on the mahjung paper and the students will listen. b) Students will read the passage. c) Students will recognize the name of the food in the passage.

d) Teacher will paste the picture cards and the word cards on the board and drill the students.

Require Learners Participation Teacher will asks the students to pronounce and spell the name of the food. Teacher will jumble up the picture cards and word cards then asks the students to rearrange and match the picture cards with the correct word cards. Evaluate and Revise Teacher will give the students a simple guided essay based on the topic and the students need to complete the essay.
