Senior Communications Officer, 12/2013 to 11/2016
• Implementing strategic editorial placement and marketing activities to highlight ADFSC's role in educating
farmers to control pests such as the red palm weevil, of which 2.6 million were trapped across 21 thousand
farms since 2013.
• Planned and executed field trips, roadshows and press conferences to communicate ADFSC’s role in
promoting modern agriculture practices such as greenhouses and hydroponics, which have substantially
increased standards of quality and crop output, while reducing water usage by up to 80 percent.
• Generating positive media coverage through strategically planned PR, marketing and advertising for
participation in exhibitions and events such as SIAL ME, Global Forums for Innovations in Agriculture, Liwa
Date Festival, Mother of the Nation Festival, Shiekh Zayed Heritage Festival, NAJAH and Tawdhef.
• Managing of all corporate issues and crisis communications through efficient handling of media relations

• Planning and co-ordination of exclusive consumer-driven nightlife events including indie parties, R&B and
Hip Hop nights and deep house themed events, including guest lists, and press invites, artwork, sourcing

DUBAI 92, DUBAI, UAE – The first English-language FM radio station in the UAE.
Promotions Manager, 1/2007 to 12/2009
• Generating positive listener feedback through strategically planned PR, marketing, advertising, sponsorship
and promotions such as the Barasti Big Deal, a comprehensive on-air and off-air campaign that culminated
in 30 listeners winning all inclusive trips to New York.
• Planned and implemented station promotions in coordination with the sales team such as the Dubai 92
Secret Sound to win cash prizes of up to 80,000 AED resulting in an increase in website and SMS traffic by
40 and 25 percent respectfully during the campaign.
• Implementing strategic branding and marketing strategies to launch the station's new identity, including
logo, artwork, TVC, billboards and collaterals.
• Planned and executed online and social media strategies to win the title of `Best Radio Station in Dubai' at
the `Best in Dubai' awards.
