We did the homework for you, and can’t wait to see you here at Paul Brown’s! Quite simply, warehouse pricing saves you time and money. Today many dealers are in the habit of cleaning up vehicles for their used car lots and simply marking them up 4 to 5 thousand dollars and hoping an uninformed customer walks in and takes the bait. Not at Paul Brown’s! With the power of the internet, today’s car shoppers are smarter than ever. With a few clicks, buyers can find plenty of vehicles to choose from and quickly realize what’s a good deal and what’s not. We save you the time. Before a vehicle hits our lot, we scan the market within a 300 mile radius to survey how each dealer has priced similar vehicles. Over 25,000 websites are surveyed as well as local newspapers and classifieds. With that information in hand we carefully price our vehicle to be within the top ten percent of the market for similar vehicles. Regardless of profit or loss, that’s where they are priced. Why? To save you time, and help us be assured that we are providing a good car at a good value. We are not guessing at it like other dealers, we can show you what a great deal you are getting. On every vehicle on our lot you will find a copy of the nationally recognized Kelly Blue Book retail value. Below that you will find our Paul Brown Warehouse Price (usually thousands under Kelly Blue Book). Our vehicles are re-priced weekly so keep checking back with us, sometimes the deals get even sweeter. Don’t wait long though, with warehouse pricing, over 90 percent of our inventory is sold within 30 days.

The students participated in the program over the past year which was made possible from a North Central Workforce grant, in collaboration with Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Pennsylvania College of Technology and the Potter County Education Council Center. The registered medical assistant exam was held June 3 at the Potter County Education Council. "Charles Cole identified a need for qualified medical assistants," said Netra Baker, director of staff development at CCMH. "Planning and implementing the program was a team effort as Northwest Workforce Development approved the grant, Penn College provided the program in Coudersport and instructors, the Potter County Education Council provided meeting space and AV equipment and Charles Cole provided additional instructors, clinical rotation and program oversight."

Thank You!
The family of Edna A. Eaton wishes to
thank everyone who supported us through the final hours of our mother’s life; who stood by us through the vigil and celebration of her life. Mom touched a lot of people in her life, and that came through loud and clear. A special thanks to: the CCMH ICU Staff who went above and beyond, not only caring for Mom in her final hours, but taking care of the family as well. You are the best in the country, in our book; Rev. Miller, Pastor Reeves, Howard’s Funeral Home, Diane Gilroy, Linda Sturdevant, and Judy Mitchell. Thanks so much to all who sent food, cards and emails. Your thoughts and prayers helped us to celebrate Mom’s life more than you will ever know. As you know, we run many reader ads for government auctions, job positions, earn money at home, cash loans, credit cards, etc. Most of these ads come through state and national ad networks. Most of them are selling directories or listings of where to APPLY FOR what is advertised. This information may be available at less cost elsewhere. While these ads are screened where possible, we have no way of verifying the authenticity of their claims or the value of their product. The buying decision must be yours. If you have problems with any of these advertisers, please let us know and we will attempt to get you a refund. Most of the companies we have checked will refund their fees to unsatisfied customers. Read the ads carefully. Some charge a fee, as noted in the ad, directly to your phone bill when you call them. Once again, we can’t verify claims for every ad. Please consider their offer and make a voluntary and reasonable buying decision. Moneysaver Advertising, Inc.

Reader Advisory: the National Trade Association we belong to has purchased the above classifieds. Determining the value of their service or product is advised by this publication. In order to avoid misunderstandings, some advertisers do not offer “employment” but rather supply the readers with manuals, directories and other materials designed to help their clients establish mail order selling and other businesses at home. Under NO circumstance should you send any money in advance or give the client your checking, license ID, or credit card numbers. Also beware of ads that claim to guarantee loans regardless of credit and note that if a credit repair company does business only over the phone it’s illegal to request any money before delivering its service. WEARING A HELMET IS CRITICAL TO PREVENTING HEAD INJURIES, SAYS OGH’S EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT MEDICAL DIRECTOR So many more head injuries and trauma could be avoided if only bicyclists, skateboarders and in-line skaters took the precautionary measure of wearing a protective helmet. With the arrival of summer, Olean General Hospital’s Emergency Department typically begins to experience increased activity with part of the reason attributed to head injuries from children and adults who neglect to wear a helmet. “Because of the head injuries we see from recreational riding, we highly recommend the use of helmets by everyone who’s on a bicycle, skateboard or in-line skates. It’s the most proven method for preventing injury or lessening the severity.” said Henri Lamothe, M.D., the hospital’s Emergency Department medical director. “When helmets aren’t worn, the end result is far more severe head injuries and potentially catastrophic injuries” Dr. Lamothe said. Head injuries can be more prevalent in the younger population, partly because of riding inexperience and less body development, say safety experts. Their injuries also can be more severe. “The pediatric population tends to suffer from more head injuries from their recreation activities. That’s why we particularly want parents to encourage their children to always wear helmets,” Dr. Lamothe said. A helmet provides substantial impact protection, regardless of its cost. According to the Bicycle Helmet Safety Institute, “We submitted samples of six helmet models to a leading test lab:

three in the $150 to $200 range and three under $20. The impact test results were virtually identical. There were very few differences in performance among the helmets. Our conclusion is that when you pay more for a helmet you may get an easier fit, more vents and snazzier graphics. But the basic impact protection of the cheaper helmets we tested equaled the more expensive ones.” As added incentive to purchase a helmet, some discounts may be offered when a helmet is purchased along with a bicycle, skateboard or in-line skates, Dr. Lamothe said. “With safe helmets available for such low cost, there’s really no reason for children and adults to ever ride or skate without one,” Dr. Lamothe said. your goals, you may want to consult a broker, financial planner or other financial expert.

Yours, Mine, Ours Taking Your Financial Vows Jointly?
(NU) Congratulations, you’re getting married! So have you discussed who will maintain the household budget and who will make the major investment decisions? And, how do you plan to file your taxes— individually or jointly? According to financial planners, newlyweds spend more time planning their wedding than they do their finances. However, almost immediately after newlyweds say, “I do,” they discover how important the role of money is to the relationship. But, with planning and discipline, couples can make sure that differences over money won’t change “I do” to “I don’t.” No matter what your age, Fidelity Investments® suggests that newlyweds consider these simple guidelines: •Develop a budget by listing income and expenses. Make a commitment to save or invest and stick to it. If

you factor your saving into your budget, you will give saving the same importance as monthly bills. •Determine and prioritize your joint savings goals. It’s difficult to implement a savings plan without having a specific goal to save toward. •Discuss all areas of your finances before making any financial decisions. As singles, you probably made your own decisions about money. But as a couple, you need to consult each other when it comes to major financial decisions. •Take an inventory of the financial assets life insurance, bank accounts, investments and property - each person brings into the marriage. Decide if it makes sense to keep these assets separate or combine them into joint policies, accounts and property. •Set up a rainy day fund in a readily accessible account for emergencies or unexpected bills. Experts recommend saving the equivalent of three months gross salary in

an interest-bearing checking account, savings account or money market account.

The Diamond Dilemma
Choosing the perfect engagement ring is not an easy task. With so many sizes and styles to choose from, it is hard to pick the one you’d like to wear for the rest of your life. Beverly Clark, author of Planning A Wedding To Remember, explains the criteria to consider when selecting a diamond: Color- The clearer the diamond, the greater its value. Diamonds are graded on a scale: The greater the degree of color in the stone, the lower the stone’s value, with the exception of very rare colored diamonds which are extremely valuable. Clear or colorless stones are referred to as perfect. Cut- Accuracy in cutting is essential to the beauty and sparkle of the diamond. The stones are proportioned and faceted to maximize the brilliance through

•Out of sight out of mind. If you need help saving, many financial institutions can arrange with you and your company to automatically deduct a specific amount of money from your paycheck and deposit it directly into a property. If you and your spouse already have a will, you may want to update it to include new beneficiaries. •Talk to a professional. If you’re not sure which investment strategy is right for you and

their crowns. The brilliant or round cut is the most common. Other shapes include oval, pear, marquise, emerald cut and heart-shaped. Clarity- This is the term used to describe the degree of inclusions when the stone is magnified ten times. Inclusions are interior or exterior flaws. If they are large and noticeable without a magnifying glass, they will affect the beauty of the stone, otherwise they will only affect the value. Flawless or perfect stones with no imperfections are obviously the most valuable and expensive. Carats- This is the size of the diamond. Color, cut and clarity determine the per-carat value. A higher-quality, smaller diamond may be worth more than a lower-quality, larger stone. As the size increases from one carat to over two or three, the price per carat increases tremendously when the stone is of equal quality.
