Foreword
Dear readers,
We continue this unique project in Romania, through which Cluj-Napoca City Hall shares
information about the previous year real estate transactions in Cluj-Napoca with the entire
community.
We are already at the third edition and in the three brochures you will find extremely
valuable and diverse information. The figures from the guide can be analyzed independently or by
yearly evolution.
Thus, you will learn that a number of 7,007 transactions were registered in 2015, with a
total value of about 358 million EUR, recording a 26% growth rate compared to the previous year.
Interestingly enough, 25.7% of the transactions were financed by bank loans, while the difference
was self-financed.
The unit figures reported on square meter represent average prices, which will have to be
carefully analyzed in order to draw adequate conclusions.
I would like to mention once more that this document represents an exceptionally rich
source of information, which, if explored accordingly, should lead to conclusions and subsequently
to decisions able to improve not only the transparency, but also the overall environment of real
estate transactions development in Romania.
