How to claim Medical, LTA and Education Allowance reimbursements.

Eligibility:-

Full time employees can opt for Medical, LTA and Education allowance amount in their
compensation plan. (As below)

Process:-

Login to the All-sec web site https://www.allsectech.com/memberlogin

The following page will open up. Enter the number of vouchers and claim amount against the Medical,
Education Allowance and LTA (Yellow Color boxes) E.g. If you are claiming medical bills enter No of
voucher and Total Claim amount in No of Vouchers and Total claim as shown below.

Once amounts are updated in the respective columns, for Medical, Education Allowance and LTA,
click submit.

Click on submit

After submission, the following screen will appear

After few seconds, the following screen will appear. Take the print out, attach the supporting
documents and drop in the ALLSEC BOX at respective location.

On 20th of every month, check whether the documents are received by Allsec.The following screen will
appear once you click on Document Tracking and this will give you the status of claim.

Check the reimbursement slip for the clearances as well as for rejections along with reason for
rejections (if any).

FAQs

1. Can I claim reimbursement for all the months, at one go, once in a year?

It is advisable to claim the reimbursements as and when you have the bills (within the Financial Year
April to March)

2. What are the documents I need to drop to process my claim?

Allsec Booking page print out and attach the receipts/bills of Medical/LTA /Educational Allowance.

3. Are the Allsec booking page and supporting receipts mandatory?

Yes, both are mandatory to process your claims.

4. What if I drop the claims after 15th of the month?

Claims which are dropped after 15th of the month will not be considered for that month. It will
be considered in the following month.

Eg : Claims dropped on 18th June, will not be processed in June12 payroll instead it will be
Considered in July12 Payroll.

5. Are original documents mandatory?

Yes, all supporting documents should be in original. Without original documents, claims will
not be processed.

6. Can I submit the whole year bills at a time?

Yes, advance receipt can be submitted. The payment will be made proportionately for each
Month. In the first month of claim, mention the bill no., total amount and bill period in the
Remarks column of Allsec website.

For e.g. The Medical bill receipt is of Rs. 7500/- for the bill period June 2012 to November 2012.Enter
7500 in total claim column. And every month Rs. 1250 will be credited to your account till
November 2012.
7. When will the reimbursement be credited to my salary account?

The reimbursement will be credited along with the salary for that month.

8. What are mandatory documents required for LTA claim?

LTA Claim form, Reimbursement booking page, Original Tickets, Boarding pass if travelled by
Air. and leave approved doc (e-mail/leave portal print out print out)

9. What is the maximum amount of LTA claim?

Two months of basic salary.

10. When can I opt/ update Medical, Education and LTA in compensation?

You can update twice in a year i.e in the month of May and Oct.

11. Have opted/Updated Medical, Education and LTA in compensation plan, but I haven`t submitted the
bills till March (End of the Financial year), when will the amount will be paid ?

Unclaimed amount will be paid in the month of March, 2013 (i.e For the Financial Year April, 2012 to
March, 2013) and will be taxed as per the tax bracket/slabs the employee falls in.

12. What should be the mode of transportation to claim the LTA?

It should government authorized transportation system like Trains, Air and Buses (APSRTC, KSRTC
etc.... Private travel bills/receipts are not eligible for exemptions.

13. How many times can LTA be claimed?

You can claim LTA more than once subject to your Reimbursement Allocation / limits and actual
leave availed. However your LTA will be eligible for Tax Exemption twice in a block of four years
(Current block is Jan 2010 to Dec 2013) as per the applicable IT Act.

14. Can I club more than one travel under LTA as one claim?

No, you should not club more than one travel into a single claim
