E.O. #0009: Amendment to E.O.

#0007
An order to regulate the nature and function of Greek-Lettered Organizations

5/14/14

This order amends E.O. #0007, adopted 1/30/14, to include the following Article:

Article XII. Conflicts with this Order

This Article will apply should the bylaws or other governing documents of a constituent GLO
conflict with this Order or any bylaws or subsequent legislation of the GC.

In the event of an apparent conflict of interest, it will be the responsibility of the constituent GLO
to make best efforts to work with its national or other affiliates to have the constituent GLO
exempted or otherwise accommodated from the conflicting clause(s).

If the constituent GLO cannot have itself exempted or accommodated, the constituent GLO may
request an accommodation from the EC. The EC shall determine if best efforts have been made.

If EC determines that best efforts have been made, the EC and constituent GLO will work
together to make a reasonable exemption or accommodation.

The President shall settle all disputes in the event the EC and constituent GLO cannot reach a
mutually agreeable accommodation.

So ordered,

David J. Rosenberg, President
