Attendance/Morning Meeting 8:35am - 8:50am
Lesson
Please Pick-up my students on line E (Ms. Foxhoven's class) on the playground.

Students will put their things away in the closet, take their chair to their desk, and take out a book to read
during attendance.
• Mail Person may do their job at this time.
Take attendance by saying "Good Morning, ______________" to each student.
• Send down lunch count/attendance with the classroom helper.
Go over schedule for the day using the big blue charts by the document camera.
Morning Meeting 8:50am - 9:05am
Lesson
8:50- Send ********** out the hallway to wait for Mr. Tillo.

Please use the print-offs under the document camera to conduct their morning meeting.

Morning Restroom 9:05am - 9:10am
Lesson
Walk students out to the hallway. They will make a line of girls and boys. Let 4 students into the bathroom at a time.
When one comes out, another may go in. They may get a drink before or after going to the restroom. They will then make
a boys and girls line after coming out.

Once all students are out- let students who are on a different level walk to their WIN Group. Students are somewhere else
walk to their WIN group. Students who are with you will walk with you back into the classroom or get a computer and then
come back into the classroom.

W.I.N. Time 9:10am - 9:40am
Lesson
Students who go to someone else for WIN time will line up at the door. You will remind them to use a 4S and walk directly
to their WIN location.

Some students will be in the back of the room going onto LexiaCore5, reading silently, or doing designated activities.

********************** and ************ will come in to see you. All other students in the classroom will go onto
LexiaCore5.com or other activities.

Begin their VOWAC lesson at the pink sticky note (Jenni will get this out for you). Read the black underlined part to the
class and follow the directions from the book that ******* gets out.

Students will use this time to update anything in their green or blue reading folder that I have given them. They may also
be starting/completing reading responses that they have been working on. If done, they may read.

Ask all students to come down to the carpet. Continue reading, "Judy Moody Saves the World" on pages 15-37 in the
student book. Use the teacher copy behind the easel. Ask the starred questions below the text. Have them discuss with
their partner and then call on a few students to share for each question.

If done reading, have them get up and stretch for a moment.

Go back to the beginning and start looking at the vocabulary. Try to come up with definitions and actions for the words
together as a class.

Pass out a baggie of spelling words to each group. They will say the word and put in the the right category. Remind them
of the 3 categories: ear, air, and are.

If done, they will try using the words in sentences with one another.

Writing 11:25am - 11:48am
Lesson
They will continue working on their "Hey, Little Ant" stories. They will be writing their final drafts. Remind them that they
are writing 3 paragraphs.

Mrs. G may sit at the back desk and help **************************** and **************** with their final drafts reminding them
to indent as well in the correct places.

If done, they may begin writing their topic sentences for their own opinion writing. They may choose a topic from the back
of their papers. There are opinion questions there that can help them choose a topic. They mus use the other side of this
paper to help write their sentences.

Lead students out to the playground for recess. Pick them back up in the lunchroom at the end of lunch-12:25.

Social Studies 1 12:30pm - 1:00pm
Lesson
Ask ********** to show you where the social studies books are in the math corner. 3's and 1's may come back to get a
social studies book to share with their shoulder partner. ********** may get her own book.

Ask students to get out their 2 social studies papers (in sub folder for you) you may find the number 5 and label it as the
Haudenosaunee. On the other sheet, this would be the eastern woodland people. Ask students to turn to page 96. Read
to them about the Haudenosaunee. After every few paragraphs, stop and discuss. Have them add information to their
charts as you write under the document camera. Read as far as you can, or to page 101.

If extra time, ask students lesson review questions.

P.E. 1:00pm - 1:30pm

You will lead students down to the lunchroom/gym for P.E. Please pick them back up at the end of P.E- 1:30 and walk
them over to music.

Music 1:30pm - 2:00pm
Lesson
You will lead students downstairs to the basement hallway for music class. Please pick them back up at the end of music
class and lead them out to recess.

Afternoon Recess 2:00pm - 2:10pm
Lesson
Lead students out to the playground. Please pick them back up on the playground at 2:25.

Library Check-out 2:10pm - 2:30pm
Lesson
You will walk the students straight down to the library from recess. You will stay there and help them choose good books
using the I-PICK strategy. You will release students a few at a time to the restroom after they have chosen books.
They will go and then come back to their seat. When all are done, we will go back upstairs to put our books away.

Math Review/ Group Math 2:25pm - 3:00pm
Lesson
Ask students to take out their erasable wipe-off sheet from the other day. I have powerpoint print-offs that you will use.
They started this activity yesterday- so they should know what to do. 1's will solve the word problem using a certain
strategy, 2's, 3's, and 4's will all have their own strategy to use. They may help each other solve the problems using their
given method. Once done, students will talk to each other, show their work, and see if they got the same answer. If
students are struggling, you may want to show examples up on the board. On the last couple of problems, students may
choose which strategy they would like to use to solve it.

measurement quantities, e.g., by using drawings and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the

Lesson
Students will sit in their assigned spots on the carpet. You will read the titles on the whiteboard and students will repeat
after you. They will then read the questions with you and attempt to solve them. Give them some think time to try and
solve each problem. Do as many as you can.

Dismissal 3:15pm - 3:30pm
Lesson
Our PAW Counter will count PAW Cards and stamp our chart, discuss homework, and “How Do I Get Home” chart.
Students in the back of the closet will be let go to get their mail first. Student in the front of the closet will get their
backpack first. Remind students to put their chairs up.
