1 From the Taskbar, complete the following.

a. Click the Start icon, then click Settings.
b. Click Network & Internet.
c. Click Network and Sharing Center.

2 To view the network details for your network connection, use the following steps.

a. Click the icon for your connection type next to Connections.

b. Click Details.

3 In the Command Prompt window next to where the cursor is flashing. then enter the information as directed. 1 From the taskbar. 2 In the Search field. . choose one of the following. enter CMD and then press Enter. Reset TCP/IP Address Use the steps below to reset the TCP/IP address in Windows 10. Result: The Command Prompt window displays. Do not use spaces. click the Start icon. Result: The Network Connection Details window displays.

Note: When finished. • To view your IP address. . enter ipconfig/renew and press Enter. • To release your IP address. click the X in the upper right corner to close the Command Prompt window. enter ipconfig and then press Enter. The numbers and dots that display represent your address. enter ipconfig/release and press Enter. • To renew your IP address.
