Daily Promises of God

for educators Galatians 4:6-7

NIV - Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who
calls out, Abba, Father. So you are no longer a slave, but Gods child; and since you are his
child, God has made you also an heir.

RSV - And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying,
Abba! Father! So through God you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son then an
heir.
4

KJV - And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts,
crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an
heir of God through Christ.
4

LB - And because we are his sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, so now
we can rightly speak of God as our dear Father. Now we are no longer slaves but Gods own
sons. And since we are his sons, everything he has belongs to us, for that is the way God

planned.

Note to the educator

Have you ever seen the picture of John-John, President Kennedys son, hiding under his desk in
Y

the Oval Oce? No maDer what was going on, his young son has access to crawl up into his
fathers lap. Our God, Our Father is so much more generous, loving and tender-hearted than
any human father. We can crawl right up into His lap anyHme we need His comfort, advise or
love. When we accepted His Son Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we were adopted into the
A

family and can call Him Abba Father. We are now an heir of the promise. May you call on Abba
today for all the needs of your school community.
