1 EXAMINATION / RESULT REVIEW APPLICATION

1.1 Online Examination / Result Review Application

Online Examination / Result Review Application facilitates the students to apply for special
examination, repeat examination and appeal for review of examination result through the web
browser.

1.1.1 Accessing Examination / Result Review Application

1. The application is grouped under Academic menu. The link located on the left screen.
See Figure 1.2.

2. A single click on the hyperlink will list down the all the modules grouped under Academic
menu.
3. Select Examination / Result Review link to view the information and function provided.
The Examination / Result Review link is located on the left of your screen. See Figure
1.3.

4. It will display the Status of Applications for Examination / Result Review Interface.

1.2 Submitting Application for Examination / Result Review

The descriptions for the application process are as follows.

1.2.1 Apply for Special Examination, Repeat Examination or Appeal for Review of
Examination Result

1. Click Apply button to view list of application type. It will display the Application for
Review Interface. See Figure 2.2.

2. Select type from the drop down list labeled Application Type and semester from the
drop down list labeled Semester (not applicable for Special Examination Application). It
will display the list of applicable courses for the selected type and semester. See Figure
2.3, Figure 2.4 and Figure 2.5.

3. Fill in the information needed and click on Select? checkbox for the selected course(s).
4. Click Save & Continue button. It will display the Uploading Attachments interface. See
Figure 2.6.1 or Figure 2.6.2 and Figure 2.7 *.
* The interface may vary depending on web browser.

5. Click Browse button (button name may vary depending on web browser). It will display
the Choose File to Upload window. See Figure 2.8.

6. Locate the file you wish to upload and highlight it (Please read the Important Note
Section before uploading a file).
7. Click Open button on the Choose File to Upload window. The address of the file
location will be displayed on the Uploading Attachments page. See Figure 2.9.

8. Click Save button on the right corner of the location address. It will upload the file from
your computer to the server. The list of successfully uploaded files will be displayed at
the bottom of the page. See Figure 2.10.

9. Click View hyperlink to view the content of the uploaded file.


10. Click Delete hyperlink to remove the uploaded file from the portal.
11. The application can only be submitted after finishing the uploading process. Click Submit
button, which is located at the bottom of the page. It will display the confirmation
message box. See Figure 2.11.

12. Click OK button to submit the application. It will display successful message of the
application submission. See Figure 2.12.

1.3 Viewing Application Status and Details

This screen allows user to view the details of the application. The steps are as follows.

1. Click Status button to view the list of applications that has been submitted. It will display
the Status of Examination / Result Review Applications Interface. See Figure 3.1.
2. Select month from the drop down list labeled Month and year from the drop down list
labeled Year. It will display the list of conference applications interface for the selected
month and year. See Figure 3.1.
3. Click Detl hyperlink to view the details of the application. It will show the details for the
selected review applications. See Figure 3.2, Figure 3.3 and Figure 3.4.
