OK, I took the meteor shower schedule and coordinated it with the lunar cycle schedule.

I did this
to help see where the moon would be during the showers. It makes a difference; a full moon can
take the edge off a good meteor shower. It looks the Perseids in August will be our best
opportunity for mooning the stars this summer. They will be between the new moon and the first
quarter. Our second best opportunity to see good showers will be the Deltas Aquarids in July which
peek on Saturday, the 28th. I’m already planning my summer around this schedule. I’ll be at Broken
Arrow, if anybody wants me.
