Breaking a 3-month declining trend, wholesale inflation rose to 3.39% in December 2016.

In another digitalisation initiative, Punjab National Bank (PNB) has launched a Contactless Credit Card
PNB Wave N Pay.

Mumbai based dairy firm Kwality Ltd has signed MoU with Bank of Baroda to provide Rs. 4000 crore

Varanasi based Utkarsh Micro Finance started operating its banking business as Utkarsh Small Finance

Wholesale reinsurance provider Swiss Re has received approval from the Insurance Regulatory and

In a big relief to people, RBI has announced lifting of restrictions on daily withdrawal of money from
ATMs with effect from 1 February 2017 and has also withdrawn all limits on Current Accounts and
overdraft accounts with immediate effect.

mobile application Mission FINFIT to offer the customers of the bank financial planning and personal
wealth management services based on Robo advisory.
