REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2011-662

AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING THE POSITION OF VOCATIONAL
SCHOOL TEACHER I, SIG 13, (ITEM NO. 2), TECHNICAL INSTITUTE
OF ILOILO CITY (TDC), TO INSTRUCTOR II, SIG 13 PURSUANT TO
DBM LOCAL BUDGET CIRCULAR NO. 61

Councilors Ely A Estante, Jr. and Lyndon V. Acap

WHEREAS, in a letter dated September 9, 2011, the Honorable City Mayor, Jed Patrick
E. Mabilog requested for the reclassification of one (I) vacant position of Vocational School
Teacher I (Item No. 2) Salary Grade 13, Technical Institute oflloilo City (TIIC);

WHEREAS, the request for reclassification does not entail additional cost on the part of
the Iloilo City Government.

WHEREAS, said request is being made in order to conform with the correct position title
as embodied in Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Local Budget Circular No. 61
or the Revised Index of Occupational Services, Position Titles and Salary Grades (!OS) in the
Local Government;

WHEREAS, there is an urgent need to fill up the existing vacancy in order to meet the
increasing enrollees of the said institution, hence, the request for reclassification;

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the Cit oflloilo,

in session duly assembled, that:

Section I. -The position of Vocational School Teacher I (Item No. 2), Salary Grade 13
of the Technical Institute oflloilo City (TIIC), is hereby reclassified to Instructor II, Salary
Grade 13, pursuant to DBM Local Budget Circular No. 61;

Section 2. -Copies of this ordinance be furnished the Department of Budget and

Management, Regional Office 6, the Civil Service Commission, Regional Office 6 and the
Human Resource Management Office, Iloilo City Government;

Section 3. - This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval

ENACTED, September 21, 2011.
