The Other Way Round!

The recent so called racial profiling of Pukhtuns in Punjab and Sindh should
not come as a surprise, for this is merely the tree sprout out of the seed that
has been sown long ago. Thanks to social media, the topic got highlighted a
bit, but everyone both the victims and the oppressors have known it all
along. Our countrys federating units are divided since long along the ethnic
divides, that have been cemented over and again through many actions,
steps, utterances that have offended many who deem themselves equal
citizens of this country, being at par with their fellow countrymen in their
basic rights and freedom. Let me tell you that this current trend is not
current but merely the crystallization of what has been done before
Stereotyping Pukhtuns, depicting him a chowkidar, a truck driver, a
paedophile, and now a terrorist as if having caught the brunt of terrorism
himself wasnt enough for him.
Pukhtuns have since long been puzzled by the very fact of the matter as to
why they are so much detested, on what grounds, Why not given the fair
share, why discriminate against them, why intentionally kept backwards, why
intentionally kept just like that, etc. etc.
Lets turn the tables for a moment and to get the privilege of getting into the
shoes of our big brother, i.e. Punjab.
- caricatures
- terrorism
- border sealing in case of IDPs
- crackdown on Punjabis, strick monitoring of them, issue chip NIC, limit them
to single area, beat them,
- their descent from Indians/Punjabis of india
- Wahgah border vs Torkham border
- majority is with pukhtuns, Punjabis are minority, so the gov is made
Pukhtun vote
- take cpec share of Punjabi belt and give it to pukhtuns
- funds approved in the name of Punjabis spent on pukhtuns (making
stadium)
- no identity as their province was called CEFP
- they sacrificed their lives for their country yet in time of peace, everything
was enjoyed by KP
