Student Assessment using Google Forms

Online Staff Development

Course description

Google Apps for Education (GAFE) was introduced as a platform for teachers and students to

collaborate using several different online platforms. Within one of these platforms, Google

Forms, teachers can create online quizzes they can use to assess students. With this endeavor

students, will get used to online testing and typing of extended response answers. There is also a

way to set the quizzes up to be self-graded and automatic feedback given to the students. The

goal is for teachers to demonstrate how to create and distribute online assessment to students and

be aware of the benefits this possesses.
