Ephesians 1:7 Ephesians 1:8 Ephesians 1:9 Ephesians 1:10 Ephesians 1:11 Ephesians 1:12

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

II Thessalonians But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the 2:13 Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: II Thessalonians Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord 2:14 Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:1 Ephesians 2:2 Ephesians 2:3 Ephesians 2:4 Ephesians 2:5 Ephesians 2:6 Ephesians 2:7

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins: Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

2. This effectual call is of God's free and special grace alone, not from anything at all forseen in man, nor from any power or agency in the creature,

II Timothy 1:8 II Timothy 1:9

Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, II Timothy But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath 1:10 abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: II Timothy Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. 1:11

3. Elect infants dying in infancy are regenerated and saved by Christ through the Spirit,

John 3:3 John 3:4 John 3:5 John 3:6 John 3:7 John 3:8

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Hebrews 6:4 Hebrews 6:5 Hebrews 6:6

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

yet, not being effectually drawn by the Father, they neither will, nor can truly come to Christ; and therefore cannot be saved:

John 6:44 John 6:45

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

John 6:65

And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
