Justification of additional Scope

At Seiko Nullah Hussainabad causeway was provided. The history of


nullah reveals that during past heavy flood in the nullah always
washed away the causeways. Hence RCC bridge has been proposed.

As road is passing through villages and provision of pacca side drains


provided in the PC-I, do not fulfill the site requirement. To protect the
metal road from water, pacca side drain is proposed. Also the CA cost
exceeding over PC-I cost.

The requirement of RCC culverts exceeding over the provision of PC-I


scope. Hence proposed for additional culverts as per situation of site.
Also the CA cost exceeding over PC-I cost.

Due to constrains of PC-I provision less quantities of retaining walls


was included but as per situation of site additional retaining/breast
walls are required. Also the CA cost exceeding over PC-I cost.

Justification of additional Scope

In the scope of original PC-I, only 02 Km road improvement was


included but as per situation of site improvement of 05 Km road is
needed. Heavy rain of April 2016 caused tremendous damages to road
structure and heavy mud slidings from up hill sides deposited on the
road surface, which reduced the width of existing road at many
reaches and needs improvement.

In the scope of original PC-I, metal width of road was provided 14 ft


which is inconvenience to cross of two opposite vehicles. Hence width
of metalled road increased from 14 ft to 16 ft. Also the CA cost
exceeding over PC-I cost.

Public channels are being damaged, to avoid huge re-construction


cost HDPE pipes has been proposed in place of channels.

In the scope of original PC-I land compensation was not included.


Whereas, as per site, some blind corners are to be widened where land
compensation is involved.
