Myers says goodbye, Spellman says hello

Current and future chapter presidents share thoughts about future
Ali myers
It has been a pleasure to serve as the president of PRSSA for the 2009-2010
school year. I have met so many people and learned so much through this organization.
There are a countless number of memories I have gained through this experience.
National Conference in San Diego, beating Ad Club at kickball (again), Columbus
agency tours, The Office video, the Halloween scavenger hunt and getting to see all of
your lovely faces every Monday are just a few of the things I will never forget.
I am so excited for our chapter next school year. Kelsey is a natural born leader
and I know that our organization is in great hands. The incoming executive board is
a very hardworking group, and I can’t wait to see how they continue our chapter’s
success.
Thank you so much to all of the active members that came to every meeting
and event. Although we barely had meetings pulled together at times, your attendance
and participation made them work. I appreciate all of your hard work and I thank you
for letting me serve our chapter! Best of luck to the new executive board, you guys will
do great!

First, I can’t express how excited I am for this upcoming year and all the great
opportunities that there are for our members.
As always, there will be an amazing National Conference held in Washington
D.C. in October that I highly encourage all current and future members to attend. Also,
I’m looking forward to planning a spring networking trip to a big city. I really believe that
our members can and do benefit from agency tours and a networking trip will be highly
valuable to our members during the upcoming year.
I also look forward to strengthening our alumni and member relations. I look
