There is a designated bicycle path that borders the Santa Cruz River, and extends

CT do not have cement sidewalks, but had dirt path sidewalks.

There are many potholes in the streets in the CT. Roads in the neighborhoods on the

Mission Road Jail is a minimum-security facility where the inmates live in the dormitory-
style housing. The prisoners there are classified as the lowest level of risk. There is
no perimeter fencing. The facility assists inmates in their rehabilitation; there are many
work programs where the inmates can work off the property. Inmates here are usually
held for short periods while awaiting trial or processing. There is limited recreation and
a library.

This center is classified as a medium security facility. It has a strengthened perimeter
fence and electronic detection systems to ensure inmates stay within the confined
areas. There is a wide variety of work and treatment programs. The inmates are

 supervised 24/7 with controlled movements. More serious offenders are typically
housed here instead of the minimum-security facility. There is access to recreation
areas and a library.

1. Conduct your survey with your census tract (CT) team over at least 2 trips to the community
at different times of the day.
2. Drive, ride, or walk all streets in the census tract. Walk around parks and go into stores and
businesses open to the public.
3. Fill in every cell; use a N/A when no information is entered.
4. Spell out abbreviations on first use except for St., Blvd., Ave., Cir., Ct., Hwy., and other postal
abbreviations found at: http://pe.usps.gov/text/pub28/28apc_002.htm.
5. Use ~ for an approximate number.
6. Use Comments sections to describe important findings and/or list electronic sources.
7. For the source, include author and document title for any information found online. An APA reference
is not necessary.
8. Except where specifically indicated, the profile is asking for what is inside the boundaries of the CT.
If including a resource or service just outside CT, it must be labeled as such. Example: 0 grocery
stores in CT. Two just outside CT.
9. The proper nouns and addresses of all businesses are not necessary. Example: There are 3 fast
