Possible Problems and Misconceptions: In this class has one of special needs students. He is dont
understand the words clearly.

Solutions:
I will set with him and I will write down some words for him and explain what the meaning of these
words for example I will show him song video about touching or show him pictures of the hands.

Engage (warm up, review prior knowledge): time:

I will tell the students that they will be learning about only their sense of touch today. 5 mins.
Core (introduce and practice new concepts & procedures):

I will put various objects from the classroom in a basket. 20 mins.


I will go around the class and ask from students to pull out an object. I will ask
from them to close their eyes when they pull out the object.
I will ask from students to touch the object and say the name of the object
based on their touch.
Direct my students to get a partner.
I will give each pair five index cards.
I will ask from them to draw and color something hot when they touch it on the
front of the card. Ask from my students to tell their partner to draw the opposite
of hot on the back of the card.
I will instruct them to do this for soft, dirty, and bumpy. Explain that the
opposites of these are hard, clean, and smooth.
Have them put their index cards in a sandwich bag.
Close (wrap up, discussion, brief review activity or assessment):

They will complete the Touch worksheet. 15 mins.


I will instruct them to draw something that they would touch at the beach on
the Touch worksheet.
Have the students complete the Sense of Touch worksheet.
Ask from the students to share the items they drew on their cards during guided
practice with the class.
