LINK SETS
S7LSI:LS=3-4-5,LSN=AA123456, FCLLI=CITYSTBG12A,LST=A;

The access link set to the destination point identified by the code 3-4-5
and CLLI CITYSTBG12A is defined. The link set name is defined as
AA123456. By default, TFP and TCP messages will not be broadcast to
the adjacent point code destination if the destination belongs to another
network.

S7SLI:LS=3-7-2,SLC=1,ST=S7ST-2, ACL=A2,SLPARMG=4;

Signaling link 1 in link set 3-7-2 is defined as being connected to

signaling terminal S7ST-2. Signaling link 1 has the set of parameters
defined for signaling link parameter group 4, and the alarm class for the
SS7 SIGNALLING LINK UNAVAILABLE alarm is A2. Thresholds for
signaling link marginal performance supervision are defined by the
default values.

Define the purpose of Global Title

Explain the purpose of Gateway Screening
Explain monitoring of SS7 activities

Ericsson, Inc.
GLOBAL TITLE
TRANSLATIONS (GTT)
SSPs do not know the addresses of all databases
in the network
MTP must route unknown addresses bases on
global title digits
MTP routes messages to an STP for more
address information
Global title function usually centralized within the
network
SCCP routing in STP provides point code and
subsystem number
Message then sent by SCCP back to MTP level
three to route to final destination
