The First Colonists are raised to be strong spirited, proud
and self reliant and Tatiana is no exception. Her strongest
asset is her military training and strategic expertise.

She was coordinating an assault in another First Colony

territorial conquest when the zombies awoke. her people
were completely taken by surprise and they were among the
first groups to dissapear on such a large scale.

the slave-holding First Colony was modeled after the ancient Spartans. They were
ambitious expansionists who invited their strongest foes to join their ranks (unless they
chose death) and enslaved those unfit to be part of their society. They were completly
dependant on slave labour as the elite military class was dedicated to war and conquest
only. They ruled one of the largest territories on the continent, spanning most of what
used to be Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Ontario. They also held some of the most advanced
technologies, althought it was mostly limited to weaponry and cybernetics. They didn't
frown on dehumanizing soldiers if it made them more efficient in battle but they never
tampered with genetics as advanced as those of the church of the apocalypse with whom
they occasionaly traded.

while being a war-mongering people, they formed a very rigid and orderly society. drugs,
alcohol and religion was forbidden but training, body building, combat simulation games
and sex were the main activities outside of official duties.

the blood queen

The vile Blood Queen is the buxom leader of what is
commonly known as the Blood Cult among outsiders. she
rose to power as the first female head priest by seducing
and killing the previous head of the Church. she reformed
the two hundred year old secret cult into a more
aggressive power and pushed forward the cult's plans of
creating new eden (by repopulating the world with her
geneticaly created Master Race once mankind had been
wiped out through nuclear warfare).

Her sadistic eccentricities have accelerated the development of Homo Superior, through
many genetic experiments upon hapless denizens of her city. She also used them for their
fresh blood, necessairy to create the holy serum, which saved her and her monks from
the dead that awoke within the city’s catacombs.

the monks represented the clerical, scientific and military ruling class while the rest
of society, as with the first colony, was relegated to labour. Only men could become
monks and then only if they passed all the trials at a young age. As a fortified City-State
that keeps to itself, Holy City has been largely left alone, despite technicaly being on
First Colony territory. This is in part because of their self-sufficiency and unmatched
medical and chemical expertise, not available anywhere else, even in the technologicaly
superior First Colony capital. they are secretly linked to the vilmari via a hundred year
old forgotten underground train system.

cannibal raider of the wasters gang
Sloan is a member of the vicious Wasters, a rogue gang
made up of outcast biker junkies who rent their services
to various cannibal raider tribes. not much is known about
sloan’s past but like all raiders, he enjoys fighting, girls
(sometimes guys, sometimes dogs) and hard drugs (in no
particular order). He lives for the moment and has a mostly
pragmatic perspective on life. He is however conscious of
his dangerous life and intends to stick around for a long
time to come.

cannibal raider gangs prey on settlements when most of the heavy fighters are away on
the front. Also known as Raider Nomads, their society is not unified but is loosely made
up of roaming families and gangs. The gangs are the designated raiders that provide for
a larger tribe. They are made up of men and women seeking influence, battle, or more
freedom. Tribal leaders also compete with other tribes for influence within a larger
clan. Both men and women tend to be leaders, as competition isn't simply physical but
also in how successfull gangs are on raiding campaigns. Loners and rogue gangs are not
uncommon.

The cannibal Raiders avoid the wars by living in the harshest environments. they’re Known
for their cannibalistic tendencies as meat is a rare commodity in the bad lands. They
recycle everthing. They scavenge ruins, plunder battlefields and raid weaker societies,
as their boundaries are ever shifting and overlap the "official" colonies. And unlike the
colonists and other sedentary societies, they are mostly free of morals.

The underground denizens of Vilmari have been living in
their hermetic environement for three generations, safely
hidden from the wars devastating the surface world.

Their forgotten vault-city is located deep under what used

to be a bustling metropolis, before everything went to
hell. They maintain contact with surface allies such as
holy city, but are mostly on their own.
their level of technology is comparable to the first colony, except that their sciences
concentrate on survival rather than war. in fact, they hardly own any weapons. they do
have a formidable defence however: an impenetrable secret city located a kilometer deep
under the surface of an unreachable radioactive island. the only way out is an
underground train, connected to Holy City.

They live in a purified environment where expiration leads to immediate protein recycling.
so on The day the dead awoke, it was business as usual in Vilmari, its members oblivious
of the genocide taking place above. But when the blood Queen warns their chief
negotiator moreau that the first colony is invading the radioactive wastes, the vilmari
decide to shelter the cultists, but remain suscpicious about what’s really going on...

Chapter One (32 pages)
The Dead Awake!
by 2143ad, the world is a mess of broken
nations reduced to colonies fighting over
what little natural resources are left.
gaia is driven to extreme measures in order
to save the earth: hiring satan to destroy
mankind.
When Gaia closes the deal with Satan, she
immeditaly opens a gateway to the Prime
Material Plane within the empty vessels
that are the bodies of the human dead. The
demons simultaneously take hold of every
corpse with a relatively functional brain
across the world's battle fields, morgues,
graves and hospitals. The first chapter
starts in one such hospital when the First
Colonists are suddenly attacked from
within their heavily
fortified settlements. As
most of their heavy
fighters, such as the
Assault Borgs, are on
the front, they are
quickly overwhelmed.
The situation also takes
the soldiers on the
front by surprise, as
the enemies they have
just slain, rise again
for revenge. Within
hours, the living world
population drops by 75
percent.
On the battle lines,
Lieutnant Tatiana finds
herself the lone survi-
vor of her unit. As she
drives and fights her
way back towards the
base, she quickly runs
out of ammo. But just
as ghouls are ganging up on her car,
comes a surviving Assault Borg, who also
narrowly escaped an attack himself. Unable
to make it back to base, they find their
way into an old bunker, where they
restock on ammo and assess the situation
from their spy monitors, spread out across
their conquered lands. They realize this is
happening everywhere, except the bad
lands, where an oblivious cannibal raider
gang is spared this fate since they never
take part in the colony wars. Tatiana and
the borg decide to seek them out since
they're they only apparent survivors.
Meanwhile the raider gang is considering
plundering Holy City, which seems to be
under assault by the First Colony. Their
first contact with the living dead is made
when one of them attempts to eat the still
"living" decapitated head of a fallen sol-
dier. They now have no choice to raid the
city as they need more weapons and equip-
ment to fight the zombies.
Within Holy City, whose holy catacombs are
spread out under the streets and buildings,
The only survivors are the warrior monk
ruling class. Led by the Blood Queen, they
round up the few surviving civilians to
drain their blood to produce a concoction
they call the Holy
Serum. They have
discovered it is a pow-
erfull weapon against
the undead.
Above, a lone warrior
monk is single-handedly
taking on a whole pla-
toon of zombie comman-
dos, armed with a heavy
shotgun, a ceremonial
dagger and a flame-
thrower. Just as he is
being overwhelmed,
Tatiana and the borg
ride in and save him,
since this is where
they have last seen the
cannibal raiders back
on their scanners.
The cultist then leads
his saviors down into
the sewers, where
there is a secret way into the Church Of
The Apocalpse's fortified temple. Greeted
with a feast by the Blood Queen herself,
they are treated to a demonstration of the
Holy Serum on a zombie test subject. When
asked what special ingredient is needed to
make this compound, the Blood Queen
reveals that it's fresh human blood. It's
too late to realize they've been tricked
when Tatiana and the Borg lose concious-
ness as a result of their drugged food.
Outside, the raider cannibals decide to take
on the zombie horde!
Chapter Two (32 pages)
The Blood Rain
Tatiana and the Assault Borg wake up
strapped upside-down with tubes slowly
draining their blood. The Blood Queen
reveals her diabolical plan of world
domination (or rather the creation of New
Eden, populated by her geneticaly
perfected master race) while the zombies
outside fire up a cannon, which they use
to launch Assault Borgs into the fortified
city's structures. The monks hastily set up
huge hoses to douse the zombies with holy
Serum and rush around to arm themselves
for another counter-assault. Through
constant bombardement of the tower which
sits upon the Church's temple/bunker,
Tatiana and the Assault Borg are shaken
out of their bonds.

On their way to escape, they run into one

of the launched Assault Borgs, the live
one's deceased partner in fact. A fierce
battle ensues.

The Blood Queen is chased off by Tatiana,

who goes into pursuit, killing a few
cultists on the way.

Outside, the Holy Serum rains down upon

the zombie horde, consequently saving the
fighting nomads. Their chief decides they
should join forces with the cultists, so
down they go into the sewers to find a
way into the Church's stronghole.
Up on the city's roofs, the warrior monks
are celebrating their victory, while their
Queen is tackled by Tatiana in the sewers.
They fight, ripping each other's clothes
off and forcing excrements into each
other's faces and the First Colonist
emerges victorious. She is then taken
unaware by the arrival of the cannibal
raiders.
Chapter Three (32 pages)
The Super Zombies!
This chapter starts off with Gaia being
deeply dissapointed by Satan, for failing
to wipe out humanity in one thrust. The
lord of Hell then requests more power
on earth to lead this campaign success-
fully. Being carefull not to grant the
dark lord too much power, for fear of
unleashing a threat even worse than
makind on earth, she gives a limited
number of demons more control over
their human hosts. This results in
freakish tentacle mutations and zombies
fusing together.
A few miles away from Holy City, a new
force is assembling in one of the First
Colony slave pits. A hundred super zom-
bies march with them towards Holy City.
Back in the Holy City sewers, Tatiana
joins forces with the raiders. A del-
egation then walks up to the cultists
to propose an alliance. The monks
refuse in the name of their mistress,
but Tatiana tells them she's killed her.
Angered, one of the monks pulls out a
gun, but is quickly electrocuted by the
raider chief's cybernetic arm. He elec-
trocutes another one but ends up with
a bullet between the eyes. Alerted by fortified safe-room within the bunker's

themselves and Tatiana picks up the

Counter-Assault!
A lone biker scout rides back to Holy City
with news of the coming menace from the
slave pits. Tatiana has conceived a defen-
sive strategy and organized the inoculation
of everyone against zombification, using
the holy serum and matching blood types.
Some of the raiders prepare for the
upcoming battle by shooting various drugs
into their veins.

The zombies march in and the battle starts

suddenly when one of the cultists drops
his devastating atomic pulse rifle into the
zombies’ hands. The cultists attempt to put
their holy serum pumps back online while
the battle-frenzied raiders run happily to
their deaths, taking a considerable number
of zombies with them.

Eventually, the human alliance starts to

run out of fighters and ammunition, and
Tatiana leads them back into the temporary
safety of the Inner Sanctuum.

Safe inside, they recuperate and decide

their on next move. A cultist notices the
stasis chambers, which are now empty.
Tatiana asks what was in them and the
cultist explains the Blood Queen's plans
for a master race to populate her new The Blood Queen appears, accuses the
world order. But who could have released cultists helping Tatiana of treachery and
them? condemns them all to die in this chamber.
