Introduction:
Many people have different opinions on how students in high school are able to relieve stress and
stay healthy throughout their High School career. Many students suffer from extreme anxiety and
stress that forces them to decline in their academic achievements and look for different ways to
improve their health and their mental stability. Two ways that can help students in high school
achieve better health and relieve the stresses and anxieties of school is exercising multiple times
a week and or creating an extensive Garden within the school's borders, that is open to all the
students and not just any particular club or class. Exercise will help your body produce
endorphins which will make you feel better and improve your physical health, as well as have a
profound positive impact on many different mental illnesses, as well as relieve extreme stress
situations. In addition to that my proposal of an extensive Garden offers a Hands-On experiential
learning opportunities in a wide array of disciplines in the different subjects of school. Also this
project has a positive impact on student achievement and behavior that allows students to learn
focus, patience, cooperation, teamwork, and social skills. Both of these projects provide a
positive influence on students suffering from negative impacts of high school, allowing them to
find an outlet and promote students healthiness in and outside of school.

Conclusion:
Creating an extensive garden in the school's Courtyard will give students the access and chance
to not only participate but be a full-fledged member of the community. This project gives to the
chance they need to improve their mental, physical, and social health, and an academic
atmosphere, but in a way that does not pressure them with the same standards that the school
requires. It is an on-campus atmosphere that gives them the outlet they need two improve their
social skills, build a community, and release any nerves or anxiety they have in their daily lives.
The school garden offers the different experiences and learning opportunities that allow students
to better their academic improvement in the different subjects of school such as math, science,
literature, and even history. This Improvement project is the best solution for relieving students
stress as it is a non-profit project that allow students to be in charge of it and not the teachers,
giving students the sense that they are in control and allow them to build the community within
just the students; away from any academic pressures as well as administration. It gives them the
freedom that they don't have in other aspects of their lives and creates unity between the different
ages and genders at the different high schools. This addition to our school campus would give
our high school a new positive atmosphere and better students desire to be at the school, and look
for a brighter future in their careers.

Similarities:
1. Both of these activities main purpose is to relieve schools stress and promotes
students healthiness in and outside of school.
2. Also when done in group environment it gives students the chance to interact
with one another and get to know each other-builds relationships.

Conclusion:
The data I found on both of these Improvement projects have shown that they both have the
ability to help students in many different ways, including their physical, mental, emotional
health, as well as academic. These projects are different as exercise mainly provides a physical
and mental benefit where gardening provides a social benefit that allow students to branch out
and build relationships in addition to the physical and mental improvements and influences.
Now both of these improvement programs have the ability to help students in many different
aspects, but I think the extensive garden will have a better chance at improving students lives
all around. These projects provide a positive influence on students suffering from negative
