Functional Analyst

Are you a highly motivated 2nd year student at Economics & Computer Science or Finance &
Banking? Then join our Core team as Functional Analyst Intern.

The internship will have a duration of 90 hours, starting May 2017 with flexible working time (4-6
hours/day), depending on your availability. This is an unpaid internship for students who have a
compulsory practical module.

Wolters Kluwer Financial Services works with customers worldwide to help them successfully
navigate regulatory complexity, optimize risk and financial performance, and manage data to
support critical decisions.
Through Regulatory Reporting Application the financial organizations automate and make more
efficient and effective the reporting activity.
The objective of Core team is to create an application that automates the reporting process in
compliance with the European legislation from banking sector (IFRS, Basel III).

What a Functional Analyst does?

A Functional Analyst plays a key role in monitoring and interpreting Regulatory changes in the
banking sector and works closely with the technical team to ensure that they have a clear
understanding of requirements and support them throughout the development process.

You will improve your financial instruments knowledge

You will get a better understanding of databases
You will learn how to extract information from the database using SQL Selects
You will learn how to validate the bank financial reports and how to create test scenarios
for them
