Place: Forest Glen Early Childhood Center
Time: 7-9-P.M.

This month we are proud to have Dr. Ellen Platt join us for a
session on the difficult topics of stress, fear, anxiety, depression
and other things that may lead to school avoidance. This session
will focus on Pre-K and elementary aged children. All parents are
welcome to join us as we learn together and share experiences
and encouragement in our journey as parents of children with
various special needs and differing abilities.

Dr. Ellen M. Platt is a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist practicing in Cedar Grove, NJ. Dr. Platt consults with
many school districts in addition to her private practice. She also provides workshops focusing on Child and Adolescent
problems from a clinical perspective as they relate to everyday life stresses.

At this May meeting, we will also discuss ideas for future meetings and events, as well as leadership
roles for next year. If you are interested in being a part of the SEPAC Board or helping in any way,
please come or email us. We would love to hear from you!

In SEPAC, there’s something for everyone - Parents, students, self-advocates, Educators, Administrators, Child Study
Teams, Board of Ed members, and Community members. All are welcome, including other SEPAC Groups and Parents
from other School Districts. Join is and bring a friend!
