Chapter 27 Of the Church 1.

The catholic or universal church, which, with respect to the internal work of the Spirit and truth of grace, may be called invisible, consists of the whole number of the elect, that have been, are, or shall be gathered into one, under Christ, the head thereof; and is the spouse, the body, the fulness of im that filleth all in all.

Hebrews 12:18 Hebrews 12:19 Hebrews 12:20 Hebrews 12:21 Hebrews 12:22 Hebrews 12:23 Hebrews 12:24

For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard entreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more: (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart: And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I e ceedingly fear and !uake:" #ut ye are come unto mount $ion, and unto the city of the living %od, the heavenly &erusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 'o the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to %od the &udge of all, and to the spirits of (ust men made perfect, And to &esus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel)

Ephesians 5:32

'his is a great mystery: but I speak concerning ,hrist and the church)
