Goal: Research some background information and completed the research

question

Reflection Paragraph (5-7sentences)

Today, I do research the characteristic between hamster and guinea pig that
which one is not easily to die and have a longer life expectancy. I found that
guinea pig is harder to die and has longer life expectancy than hamster.
Including, guinea pig gets bored easily, so we decide to play the music to
entertain them to make them enjoy, and then they might learn faster. Because
the music can stimulate the formation of brain chemical and it increased release
of dopamine, which known as feel good neurotransmitter, in humans brain. Next
step, we plan to design the experiment and the variable of the experiment. So,
we have to make sure that we complete the goal today because if were not
complete, then we cannot do the next step which is the variable and design of
the experiment. The result, we complete the goal today.

Goal: Approve the research question by Mrs. Charlene and find out the research
information that related to my experiment such as kind of music.

Reflection Paragraph (5-7sentences)

Today, I research the further information about experiment that I found out
yesterday. And, we change a little bit for a research question. The research
question is based on the experiment that I found on the internet. It is about
effects of different kinds of music on guinea pig when it runs out of the maze. I
adapted that experiment to be like one guinea pig runs out of the maze without
the music and another one is have a music while it is finding the way out. We
would like to test the memory of both guinea pigs as well. The things that I have
learn today, it effects to the next goal that I have to design the experiment. For
example, the kind of music, the form of maze, how long are we going to teach
them or something like that because it is the one of the important part in our
experiment. Finally, I complete the goal today.

Goal: Manage work and design the maze of guinea pigs

Today, I manage the work of the proposal and research a design of maze for the
guinea pig. For example, the materials, size of the maze that we are going to
use. I think it will not help us that much for the next step in next class period
because it does not related to the experiment that much like I think other factors
is more important. For example, kinds of music that we are going to use and I
have to work on the experiment about the music that effects the brain. I think it
will help us better, but in the overall I complete the goal today.

Goal: Doing the research

Today, I list the materials that we are going to make the maze. Moreover, I
research some information for how to do the proposal. I have do research a little
bit of literature review. The next step, I plan I will start to do the literature review
seriously. I think it does not affect to my next step much. The result for today is
through so well.

Goal: Doing the literature review

Today, I do some research about the experiment that related to my experiment.

For example the music improves memory in human, but not sure it works with its
animal. Thats kind of research that I have researched for today. Next step, I still

have to continue to work on literature review because it has not finish

completely yet. Therefore, the work of the day effects to the next step definitely

Goal: Decide to buy guinea pigs or hamsters

Today, I research the basic information again between hamster and guinea pig. I
also research the price of them and the place where we can buy guinea pigs. The
result, we decide to buy the guinea pigs. So, we have to buy by our own in
guinea pigs farm or somewhere. I think it will not going to effect the next step
because the next step, we plan to do the final proposal. Therefore, I complete a
goal today.

Goal: Finishing the literature review

Today, I know the outline proposals feedback from Mrs. Charlene. So, I make an
adjustment in the outline proposal. I complete the goal of the day because I have
just a little bit to rectify. Thats mean it does not impact to my next step due to
Im going to help my friends part especially literature review. Because I think
thats the hardest one of the proposal. Moreover, I plan to make a maze for
guinea pigs soon (maybe next week).

Goal: Finishing the timeline of my experiment in methodology

Today, I create the data to do the timeline of the experiment and put some data
on it. Moreover, we change plan a little bit such as expand the time to building
the maze of guinea pigs. I think it helps me in the next step because we will
know the plan what we are going to do next and it will lead us to the target for
sure, if we follow the plan. Overall, I almost done, just left a little bit of data.

Goal: Finish the maze runner for guinea pigs

Today, I do not learn anything new because I continue to do maze till weve done
with that. Moreover, it will effect to the next step certainly because, next class, I
have to train them by using counterconditioning after we will let them run in the
maze. Including, we have to collect the data while we teach/ test the guinea pigs.
Overall, I have done the maze today.

Goal: Counterconditioning / Training guinea pigs to be not fear with us

Today, I and my friends try to use counterconditioning by giving food to them and
try to make them familiar with us as much as we can. Certainly, it will going to
effect the next step because after we can make them not fear with us, we have
to let them run in the maze, and find the way to go out. Therefore, Im success
the goal today because the guinea pigs still be scared of us and fear when they
see people.

Goal: Counterconditioning / Training guinea pigs to be not fear with us

Reflection Paragraph (5-7sentences)

Today, Im doing the same thing as the class before because two guinea pigs still
scared of us, and alarmed all the time when they see crowded people and loud
sound. So, thats why we have to use counterconditioning with them. The result
we found that, today is better than last class because guinea pigs scare is more
peaceful, and they come to us and eat the food from our hands. Generally, Im
complete the target.

Goal: Planning the video

I do not learn something new today, but I and my friends plan the video before
editing the real one and sketch it in A4 paper. In addition, we cut a short video in
a part that we use counterconditioning with them because we have only that
part video. I think its not affect much to the next step because we are going to
do the same thing as we do today. The part of the video is the last part that we
are going to do. All in all, I achieve the goal today.

Goal: Editing the video

Today, I do not research anything and not get new information because I start to
edit the video and record a sound for run in the video such as hypothesis,

materials, and purpose. We put all videos and pictures into editing video
programmed. Then, we choose only some videos and pictures that we want, and
continue with editing. This step is quite impact to the next step because next
class, I intend to do the personal reflection, and if we are not finishing the editing
video. We cannot do the personal reflection. However, I still have to edit the
video on weekend because it is not finish yet.

Goal: Personal Reflection

Today, I do the personal reflection and a bit of editing the video. So, I do not learn
anything new. This day is the day that I do the work very hard because I have to
send this project, and it will not impact to the next step definitely because it is
the last day that I have time to do. However, I achieve the target and finish all of
the final project.
