SWITCH TEST/REPLACEMENT

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations.
(See COMPONENT LOCATION INDEX ), and precautions and procedures. (See
PRECAUTIONS AND PROCEDURES ) before doing repairs or servicing.

1. Separate the lumbar support switch cover (A) from the switch (B).

2. Disconnect the 5P connector (C) from the switch.


3. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.

4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.

1. Turn over the driver's seat-back cover/pad as needed.


2. Remove the lumbar support motor cover (A).

3. Disconnect the 2P connector (B) from the lumbar support motor (C).
4. Test the motor by applying battery power and body ground to the terminals.

5. If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, replace it. (See FRONT SEAT LUMBAR SUPPORT
REPLACEMENT ).
