Eileen was born February 2, 1926 on the family homestead
South of Rhame, N. Dakota. She was the tenth of ten children
born to Oscar and Sarah Heide. The family moved to Eugene,
Oregon during the Depression where Eileen graduated from
high school. Eileen met Bob W. Ethridge in Portland, Oregon
and they were married in Portland on October 25, 1945. Eileen and Bob lived
several years in Springfield and Eugene, Oregon, then moved to San Mateo, CA Evelyn Jones
in March, 1959 to eventually purchase and operate a health food store, Heides
Healthway, established by her brother Orville Heide. Eileen and Bob operated April 22, 1919 - May 7, 2017
Heides Healthway until retiring in 1995. Evelyn Jones, best known as Jonsey, passed away peacefully with family by her side on
Bob Ethridge preceded Eileen in death on her birthday, February 2, 1999. May 7th, 2017 at 3 a.m., at a beautiful age of 98. A memorial service will be held on June 3rd
