INVITATION FOR NATIONAL COMPITITIVE BIDS (IFB)

Bid Identification No NCB/01/DTET/2017-18
The Director of Technical Education & Training, Odisha on behalf of Governor of Odisha invites bids in double cover
system for the Procurement & supply of Equipment/Machineries/IT equipments /Software etc. of different
Trades/Disciplines of Government ITIs/Polytechnics of the State detailed in the table below from Registered
Manufacturers/Authorized dealers/ registered with Central Government / State Governments/ for manufacturing & supply
of Goods. The proof of registration from the appropriate authority shall be enclosed along with the bid.
1. Bid document consisting of technical specifications, schedule of quantities (Bill of Quantities- BOQ), for different
packages with terms and conditions of DTCN and other necessary documents together with procedure for on-line bidding
can be seen in the website: https://tendersodisha.gov.in.
2. The Bid document will be available in the website: https://tendersodisha.gov.in from 10.00A.M.of dt.05.05.2017 to
5.00 P.M. of dt.05.06.2017for online bidding.
3. The bidder must possess compatible & valid Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) of Class-II /Class-III.
4. Bids shall be received on line only on or before 5.00 P.M. of dt.05.06.2017
5. Prebid meeting will be held on 12.05.2017 at 11.30 A.M in the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Technical
Education & Training,Odisha,Cuttack.
6. The revised bid document if any will be available in the website: https://tendersodisha.gov.in from 10.00A.M.of
dt.15.05.2017 to 5.00 P.M. of dt.05.06.2017 for online bidding.
7. Bidders have to scan and up-load copies of Demand Drafts (issued by any Nationalized Bank) drawn in favour of
Director of Technical Education & Training, Odisha, Cuttack payable at Cuttack for Rs.2100/- per package
towards cost of bid document and VAT(non-refundable), failing which the bids will be rejected.
8. Bidders have to scan and up-load copy of bid security/ Earnest Money Deposit for different packages separately as given
in DTCN in any one of the forms specified in bid documents pledged in favour of Director of Technical Education &
Training, Odisha, Cuttack, failing which the bids shall be rejected.
9. The bidders have to deposit original financial instruments towards cost of bid document and bid security/ Earnest Money
Deposit and other documents as per clause-8 of DTCN with Deputy Director (Procurement), DTE&T, Cuttack during
office hours on working days from11.00A.M.of dt. 06.06.2017 to 5.00P.M. of dt.08.06.2017 failing which the bids shall
be rejected.
10. Bids received on line shall be opened at 11.30 AM on dt. 09.06.2017 in the Office of the Director of Technical
Education & Training, Odisha, Cuttack. Bidders who participated in the bid can witness the opening of bids after
logging on to the site through their DSC. If the stipulated date of opening of bids (technical) is declared Government
holiday, the bids will be opened on the next working day at the same time and venue.
11. Time period for completion of supply including installation & commissioning of machineries and equipment shall be 90
(ninety) days from the date of issue of supply order.
12. Other details can be seen in the bid documents.
13. The authority reserves the right to cancel any or all bids without assigning any reasons thereof.
14. Addendum/ Corrigendum, if any, will be hosted in the website only.
