Access Barring Analysis

Access barring (restrictions) are defined in the HLR.

The command used is HGSDC: MSISDN = msisdn, SUD = a-b[-c] where SUD =
Subscriber Data, a = SUD code, b = SUD value part 1 and c = SUD value part 2
For example
HGSDC: MSISDN = msisdn, SUD = BAOC-1; means Barring of All Outgoing calls
Provided
HGSDC: MSISDN = msisdn, SUD = BAOC-0; means Barring of All Outgoing calls Not
Provided

The block involved in access barring in HLR is HTRAN. HTRAN information can be
found in Alex under Home Translation Functions Changeable Exchange Adaptation.

The mapping between the SUD and the CBA/TDCL is fixed in the MSC-S database and
cannot be changed.
