in love. Antonio and Sebastian plan to kill Alonso so that Sebastian can be king. Ariel ends up
leading them all to Prospero’s cell.

where Prospero and Miranda are. When the ship wrecks Ferdinand ends up on a different part
of the island: which so happened to be the part where Miranda was. They meet and Fall in love
with each other.
Vengeance is another one of the themes from the Tempest. It is developed when Alonso is
declared King of Naples and then they are shipwrecked. The ship wrecks thanks to Prospero’s
magic. He made the ship wreck so all of his enemies could suffer just like him and his daughter
did 12 years ago.

Symbols:

Prospero’s books symbolizes that he believes in magic and supernatural things; which is how the
ship wrecks.
