I3. Calculate what the voltage and current should be at each resistor and current in each loop. 4. 5. Procedure: The procedure was as follows: 1. based on the 10 volt DC source and the resistor values (using node voltage method). Measure and record value of all resistors. I1. 6. I2. Measure and record values of v1. Collect all equipment and components needed for lab. Calculate Powerdis 2 . determine the current being supplied by the source. Connect circuit as required. 3. Also. Simulate the circuit in PSPICE and compare values to step 1. 7.Objective: The objective was to determine the voltage at each node. 2. v3. current through each resistor. v2. and the power dissipated in each resistor if a 10 volt DC source is placed as shown during lab.

7 k W R3 = . the following equations were derived: (-R2R6 – R5R6 – R2R5)V1 + (R5R6)V2 + (R2R6)V3 = -10*(R2R5) (R1R4)V1 + (-R1R4 – R2R4 – R1R2)V2 + (R2R4)V3 = 0 (R1R3)V1 + (R3R5)V2 + (-R3R5 – R1R3 – R1R5)V3 = 0 MATLAB was used to find the calculated values of v1. I3 (once the equations were placed in matrix form.79 A I2 = 5.68 W R4 = 8. v3. the following equations were derived: (R6 + R2 + R4)I1 + (-R4)I2 + (-R2)I3 = 10 (-R4)I1 + (R1 + R3 + R4)I2 + (R1)I3=0 (-R2)I1 + (-R1)I2 + (R1 + R2 + R5) I3 = 0 From using the node voltage method and KCL.62 A 3 .37 A I3 = 5.41 V v3 = 3.Calculations: Given: Voltage source = 10 Volts R1 = 1 k W R2 = 4.
