Before we proceed to our meeting agenda for today, allow me to share a topic that we heard from KIDS

Summit 2017. The topic is about: MISSIONAL PASSION.

1. REMINDING PSTR JOE TO WORK HARD
2. WHY HE END UP IN THE MILITARY
3. HONOR GOD AND MADE DISCIPLES
4. CALLING
5. BE FRUITFUL AND MEET IN THE MIDDLE
6. HIS OBEDIENCE IS NO LESS THAN A PASTOR
7. HE IS A PERSON ON A MISSION
8. 30 YEARS

Pastor Joe Bonifacio told us a story of a friend of his who is a colonel in the army, he told us that this
colonel messaged him just a week before the summit and asked him on how they can collaborate ROTC
and ENC. This colonel kept on reminding him to keep working harder in discipling the youth. So he asked,
Col why are you so passionate about campus ministry? Then the colonel told Pstr. Joe if he hadn’t been
listening to our pastors for the past years in church? The Colonel then shared how he ended up in the
military. The Colonel was a student early 80’s in the university belt and he heard someone preached that
we are called to make disciples of all nation. So he was in a small group with his friend and they all
prayed and said, “Lord what calling do you have for me?” In that group his friend felt called in the
ministry and he was called into the army. So they made a deal. His friend goes into the ministry and he
will go to the army, that they will change the world in where they are and they will meet in the middle
nalang. His obedience in the Army is no less than different than being a full time pastor. He is a person
on a MISSION. And for 30 years he and his friend is still there: CHANGE THE CAMPUS, CHANGE THE
WORLD; HONOR GOD, MAKE DISCIPLES.

1. TEACHERS CALLED FOR A MISSION: TRAIN UP THE NEXT GENERATION TO HONOR GOD AND
MAKE DISICPLES.
2. WHATEVER IT TAKE. PERFECT ATTITUDE.
3. EXISTING TO LIVING
4. CONSUMING RESOURCES TO CREATING RESOURCES
5. RECEIVING ON THE CHURCH TO GIVING AND BEING A CHANNEL OF GOD’S BLESSING
6. WHICH ONE ARE WE TODAY? …BUSY
7. SALUTE…LEVEL OF COMMITMENT
8. ALL ABOUT GOD… SHARE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE

Being a teacher you are called for a Mission. Being part of the KIDS Ministry, we have a Mission. TO
TRAIN UP THE NEXT GENERATION TO HONOR GOD AND MAKE DISCIPLES. I just love the motto that we
have. WHATEVER IT TAKES! That’s the perfect attitude of a person with a mission. A man or woman on a
mission has graduated from just EXISTING TO LIVING. A man or a woman on a mission has graduated
from JUST CONSUMING RESOURCES TO CREATING RESOURCES that other people can feed from. A man
or woman on a mission has moved from just RECEIVING ON THE CHURCH TO GIVING AND BEING A
CHANNEL OF GOD’S BLESSING. Which one are we today? Yes some of us have work, school and families
but I salute every teachers here today for being here, for having that level of commitment. Why?
Because you’ve moved to say that Lord this is not just all about me, it’s not what I get from the church,
it’s not what the church can give to me. Lord you’ve given something for me, I want to share it to
someone else.

so okay lang. I know it’s not a sin but Lord what have you called me to do? And we cannot compromise that anymore. Let’s ask ourselves. dili maminaw. it’s not just a matter of asking a question if sin ba yan? O hindi sin. we get comfort from Jesus. this the lifestyle of a man and a woman on a mission. At a certain life of you being a Christian. There are rules we subject ourselves to because of the standards God has called us to. We sign up for suffering so let’s not be surprise. What are civilian pursuits? There are people who are soldiers and there are civilians. There’s a difference between a kid who plays basketball on the block and being a professional basketball athlete. Who are we trying to please? Who are trying to get the approval of? This is why we have no choice but to obey because we know in our hearts that we are going to please and honor God. HAVE YOU SIGN UP FOR SUFFERING? When a person signs up to join the army they are not signing up for comfort. This might be all too much and yes we could stop. you’re going to question everything when you’re having a hard time. The first aspect of being a soldier is. Because that’s what we signed up for. This is a quality of a man or a woman in a mission. that they are not bad but would diminish the call of God in your life. V. (2) We need to be here early and we need to go home late to clean up the room. 2:1-8. 5 – competing according to the rules. 4 – get’s entangled in civilian pursuits. See if you are not in a mission. Let me ask you. 1. soldiers cannot act that way anymore because it would compromise the mission that they are set on. You’re going to complain and compare with other people every time there’s a hard time. . (4) We sometimes would miss the service. It would come to a point that it’s not just about a question of sin but to a point of Lord what you have called me to? I know it is okay. Being a teacher. we sometimes put in a hard situation: (1) Kids are so annoying. Paul gave Timothy 3 pictures in his head. We did not sign up for comfort. to civilian pursuits.Let’s read 2 Tim. When we signed up in Kids church. we’ve let go in some civilian pursuits. why did you join KIDS CHURCH? I hope that you’ve signed up knowing that you are going to share the suffering. why are we doing this? V. We get prosperity and our fulfillment from Jesus. (3) We need to study the lesson and prepare for the service. Why. THE SOLDIER V. the things that we know that are fine.3 – Share in the suffering. Civilians can act in whatever way they want to act. THE ATHLETE V. we can quit but you will always know what God called you to do and you will never be satisfied until you obey.4 (b) tries to please his commanding officer. what did we sign up for? Why are we surprised when we have a hard time? This is what we sign up for. mag sigeg tabi. We say no to distractions. What is the mindset or lifestyle of a man and woman on a mission? This is what it means. 2.

It would take a lot of our time. What are these rules? You see. Why is worthy? Because of the crown. I believe that being a kids teacher requires a lot of faith. then you yourself would say that this is not allowed. And it’s you! Between you and God. They would wonder. Maybe you were like this before. But if we know. Where the roots are so strong and the storms of life cannot rock it’s foundation of faith. That despite the sufferings. That this tree is not just a strong tree but it grows a lot of branches which bears a lot of fruit. if we don’t see the clear picture of our mission and these rules are placed on us. I hope and pray that each of us here understands our mission. . For Kids who would probably forget you. THE FARMER V. Don’t do it for others recognition but do it for God’s recognition. follow up and teachings before the kids could fully understand. hurt you. That I am not willing to jeopardize God’s plan for me for this hobby. And then in your first week of volunteering it becomes a nightmare. 30 years that seed would grow into a tree and it becomes unshakeable. But it’s okay because your reward is in heaven and God has a reward for you. for this foolishness and for this nonsense. how come they develop a conviction in their walk with God. very fond of children’s cuteness that’s why you volunteer. Why? Because the seed that we plant today will take a lot of toiling before it grows. dagko na ang uban successful na but they can’t remember you. how come they know about the Bible. Those kids who teach in kids church are now in ENC. Lord thank you for giving me an opportunity to plant a seed and toil them. for this pursuit. 3. Kids church is hardwork. That’s why it’s worth competing according to the rules. God sees everything done in secret or in public. Years from now we will see them. 6 – The hardworking farmer. Our God recognizing hard work. to disobey. And in 20 years. And their fruits are falling planting a lot of seeds that would eventually become a strong tree. This cute kids who look so cute. we will react on rebellion. And maybe after 10 years of labor and finally there’s a breakthrough. they just make it a mission to attack you. the rules and the hardwork we obey because that’s what we are called for: TRAINING UP THE NEXT GENERATION TO HONOR GOD AND MAKE DISCIPLES.
