COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The field of recruitment and selection has acquired increasing importance in the last three decades.
Recruitment and selection is becoming one of the most influential functions of an organization to
achieve competitive advantage, that is why, without the ability to recruit the right people in foreign
countries, even multinational enterprises will not be able to keep their competitive advantages. With
this backdrop, the course has been designed to help the students in learning management of
recruitment and selection. Attempt shall also be made for explaining suitable recruitment methods,
sources, appropriate Interview techniques and suitable selection steps.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the course, the students will be able to
a. Manage Recruitment and selection function
b. Decide suitable recruitment methods and sources
c. Appropriate Interview techniques
d. Suitable selection steps

OVERALL PEDAGOGY/TEACHING METHODS:


The course shall conduct adopting both Pedagogical and Andragogical methodology. Under Pedagogical
methodology, we shall use lecture method as some components of the course are Informative in nature.
Andragogical methodology including case study, projects etc shall also be used for conducting the
course.
