Dear Manager,

Please accept my attached resume for consideration of a full time summer position
five days a week, starting any time after July 1st 2017, and a part time position starting in
September.

I am currently a University of Lethbridge student, which is where I spent the past ten
months, working as a waitress and an aid for a young girl with autism. She is for the most part
non-verbal, and I spent 6 days a week with her working to improve her understanding of
every day skills and improving her social abilities. I am continuing my studies to become a
teacher with the University of Lethbridge, but will be doing so online as of September 2017.
My schedule is relatively flexible, as I am studying education online for the next year and
plan to work three days a week while in school. Im interested in a steady job that I can rely
on, and assure you I would be a reliable employee in return.

While in Lethbridge, I worked as an aid as mentioned above, but also as a waitress at

Firestone Restaurant and Bar. Firestone has provided me with six amazing months of
experience working in a fast paced environment, and working collaboratively among co-
workers and one on one with customers.

Before moving to Lethbridge for school, I spent close to two years waitressing at
Phoenix Grill Bar and Restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of meeting new
people and working in a team environment, as I am a very social person. My people skills are
very strong as I am outgoing, friendly, respectful, organized, and a quick learner. I have
completed one semester at SAIT in the Hospitality and Management Program, and I believe
this experience has given me additional skills that would be valuable to your organization.

Waitress at Firestone Restaurant and Bar January 2017 Current

Waitress at Firestone Restaurant and Bar in Lethbridge, Alberta. Working five nights at week as a waitress
at one of Lightbridges busiest and most upcoming restaurants. At Firestone, I was responsible for all
waitressing duties, such as bussing, cleaning, food running, etc. At Firestone, I was constantly in a very fast
paced environment dealing with all circumstances that come with the job of waitressing.

Behavioral Solutions Inc September 2016 January 2017

Behavioral Aid for Behavioral Solutions in Lethbridge, AB. In home aid for a non-verbal girl with autism
doing many every day tasks such as swimming and dance lessons, grocery shopping and drop off and
pick up from school. Also performing in home activities to improve her social abilities such as teaching her
basic sign language and many every day basic skills such as putting on clothes and teaching what each
article of clothing is called. I am currently; as of January, a personal respite worker for the same young girl
doing part time activity work with her.

Waitress and bartender at Phoenix Grill Restaurant in Signal Hill. At Phoenix Grill I had many duties such as
cleaning, food running, taking orders, pouring and mixing drinks, serving, dealing with cash outs.

Dance Teacher January 2015 June 2015

Teaching a variety of styles of dance to children ages 3-8 once a week in Bragg Creek Alberta. By leading
the program I was in charge of creating daily activities and lessons for each class taught. I was in charge
of putting on a recital at the end of each session for each class in a theatre. Costumes, music,
choreography, attendance, daily lesson plans and style of dance were some of the things that I was
responsible for.

Auction held at the West Jet Campus, where tickets were $2500 and many celebrities attended the

Au Pair for two children ages 6 and 8 in Croissy Sur Seine, Paris, France for the summer. Responsible for all
activities throughout the day with the children.

I am currently studying at the University of Lethbridge, in a combined degrees program to get a Bachelor
of Education, and a Bachelor of Arts. I studied at the University my first year completing three semesters
there and plan to move back to Calgary to complete my second year online through Athabasca
University in collaboration with the University of Lethbridge.
