Team Leader: LIM CHING SONG (47360)


1. No matter what roles you are playing, such as student, trainer or educator, always be
responsible and be ready to contribute to the society with own knowledge and skill.

2. Knowledge of information technology (IT) about Microsoft Technology is required to


conduct the training to students and teachers. Besides, presentation skill also is
essential to ensure the message is delivered them clearly.

3. According to the interview on teacher and the feedback form that they filled, this
training is successful because the community is started to apply what they learned
from the training on their daily paper works.

4. This project helps us to have a better understanding on the subject technopreneurship,


because it gives the chance to student to have a practical practice on how to deal with
client, deliver the service and fulfil client requirement.

a. Leaderships, as the leader of the group, I must make sure the progress of the
project and distribute task to each of the member.
b. Responsibility, ensure all the tasks and works is completed on time.

6. The experience that I gained from this project ensure the improvement in the future.
Member: CHONG WEI LUO (46538)
1. By doing this service learning, I able to gain better understanding on my
responsibilities and roles as a citizen. As a citizen, I should contribute and share my
knowledge to communities to help them. For example, we have the knowledge in
using Microsoft Excel and Word, we can deliver such knowledge to the teachers and
students in school just like what we did in the service learning. By doing this, teachers
can use the knowledge in their workplace.

2. Throughout this service learning, I had improved my communication skills and I also
learned deeply in using the Microsoft Excel.

3. During the last visit, we had interviewed the teachers in the school. We get know that
our service is bringing benefits for them. They said that the service we provided in
service learning makes teachers more easy to handle the marks or ranking sheet in a
class. They can complete the ranking within a short time.

4. Throughout this service learning, I had practiced the procedures and steps to deliver a
service to the clients. This allow me to experience the actual practice on what I had
learned in lecture. It provides practical exercise rather than just theoretical knowledge
in lecture.

5. The two character traits would be patient and cooperative.


Patient: In this service learning, patient is required for us to teach and ensure each of
the students are understand the knowledge that we tried to deliver to them.
Cooperative: In this service learning, cooperative is essential for us to cooperate and
work with the school for delivering the training in the school.

6. Communication skill is essential in any situation as long as you are communicating


with other people. I will always aim to improve my communication skill so that I can
deliver my messages correctly when I am communicating with clients or partners.
Besides that, I will apply my communication skill in establish the relationships with
other people.
Member: Louis Tan Kai Sian (49202)
1. We as a citizen of Malaysia were lucky to given sponsored high education by the
society. As a token of appreciation, I would like to give while learning how to match
myself to the society. Throughout this experience, I get to know about how the school
society carry out their daily routine and from that I can deliver a solution to help and
improve their livelihood.

2. Throughout this experience, I have to acquire good listening and tolerance into the
whole process. Due to language barrier, we are required to speak in Malay and
unfortunately my Malay wasnt compatible with their level and they usually spoken in
their dialog. Thats where tolerance come in.

3. We taught Microsoft product to the teacher and also introduce new features to the
school authority which help them to improve their work efficiency. We were told they
applied the skills in their sport day to record down the marks and the rate.

4. Technopreneurship is based on the community study and the enterprise study which
can hardly get in book. The service learning provides us opportunity to get into
society for better understanding on how their work and also we practise what we learn
in the field.

a. Able to accommodate uncertainty and ambiguity
b. Flexibly adapts to changing circumstances and competitor.

6. I believed in every project they will required skills that I had learn from this
experience. For example, we always face changes and update requirement form the
clients. Thus, ability to accommodation and flexibility is most required.
Member: Asterick Soh Ah Leong (46348)
1. As a citizen, I must have the responsibility to deliver my experience and knowledge to
the improve the community. I should share and contribute the knowledge and skills
that I have learned in UNIMAS all these years.

2. I have gain extra knowledge about Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Words. Besides
that, I have improve my teaching and communication skills.

3. This service have made a great impact and lots of benefits towards school because we
have taught the teacher and given basic on operating and using Microsoft Excel while
teaching the students about Microsoft Words. This knowledge would help the teachers
with their marking and grading sheets while students would be more IT fluent after
using Microsoft Words.
4. This experience has help me understand on how a community projects or services
works. It taught me the requirements and process of dealing with community such as
the school I went for Service Learning.

a. Patience: Patience is required when teaching the teachers and students to
ensure everyone understand what we are trying to deliver and able to catch up
with us from the beginning until the end of the lesson.
b. Teamwork: Teamwork is important when delivering a teaching lesson with a
community such as a school because each and every one of our members have
a role to play and required to contribute to make this project a success.

6. I would use it in situation such as dealing with my job interviews or during my


Practical Training next semester. I have to use these knowledges and skills to make
myself more prepare when I work for a company that deals with clients and other
communities
Member: SIM KENG WAI (48925)
1. This experience let me understand my responsibilities and roles as a citizen better. As
a citizen, I shall share my knowledge to communities and finish the task they given on
time.

2. Throughout this service learning, I learnt more detail on the Microsoft Excel and
improved my communication skill.

3. During the last visit, we had interview session with the teacher. During the interview,
we know that our service helps teachers more easy to handle tasks such as marks or
raking sheet in a class.

4. Throughout this service learning, I had experience on how to deliver a service or


product to the clients. This will allow me experience a real situation rather than just a
theoretical knowledge in class.

a. Attitude During this service learning, attitude is important in order to get
feedback from the teachers and students. A bad attitude will be ignored by the
teachers and students.

b. Patient During this service learning, patient is needed to teach the teachers
because not all the teachers know how to use Microsoft Excel.

6. Communication skill is important in any situation as long as we want to share or


deliver idea to people. Having a good communication is needed to maintain a good
relationship with clients.
Member: LEE RON KIT (47294)
1. This experience let me learn that as a citizen, we must take responsibility in whatever
we are doing and complete them in the given time limit.

2. Through this service learning experience, I get to learn and gain more knowledge
about Microsoft Excel. Besides, I have also developed good communication skills.

3. Our service provides an IT training to the teacher and let them make good use in
Microsoft Excel to help them in their school result management. The teacher provides
good feedback us for make good use of the Excel when we visit the third time.
4. This experience makes me more understand how to manage a project like IT service
and what steps is needed throughout this whole IT services. Besides, it also teaches us
how to communicate well with team member and clients.

a. Patience During the IT services we provided, patience is needed to teach
those teachers because not every teacher knew how to use Microsoft Excel.

b. Happy During the process, beside teaching the teachers, we also chit-chat
with the teachers during our break and the school also provided us lunch. It
was a good and nice event.

6. We must take responsibility for our work when we work in society. Besides, when we
are working in society, good communication is needed to establish or maintain a
relationship with either clients or partners.
Member: OOI SAN YONG (48677)
1. By learning through preparing the MS product and what the impact brings to the
society.

2. Teamwork, communication skills, MS Excel.

3. They learn something that hasnt been taught. Our services can ease their work if they
try to implement it. I know because when we taught them, they were surprised to see
such methods exist.

4. To gain the requirements easily by communicating.

5. Patient, Flexibility.

6. I will teach my brother and sister.

Member: Yoga Pratama (45382)


1. As a citizen in society it is already become our responsiblity to share and gathering
together our knowledge, inteligent and team work. Through this service learning i
learn how important preparation knowledge abaut technology since young generation
and implememnt it in the future.

2. From this experience we acquire communication skill, because we teach mostly very
young student, patient and give them motivation so they could learn by them self in
future.

3. Based on our feedback from the schooll, that the service learning their got are really
usefull especially for the teacher. Microsofts are really importand for them, especially
Excell, so they could apply the knowledge as soon as they clear how to operate it.

4. This service learning provide us opportunity to learn what not thought by book and
this opportunity also gave us lesson which is we can understand in the field what is
the customer really want or need and how to solve the problems immediately.

6. Ii believe in other situation what we learn from this servise learning could be usefull
in every project that we will face in the future.

Member: Ng Ching Hsien (47919)


1. As a citizen, we should give back contribution to our society by helping those who in
needs or solving the problems using our knowledge, be responsible to any task and
action such as completing a project in time and fulfill the requirements.

2. My communication skill had improved to acquire the requirement from the clients and
perform or guide them to our system well.

3. The school system of our client has improved and become smoother, as the teachers
become better in using Microsoft Excel for the result management, and the students
know how to use Microsoft Word well. The feedback from our client are positive.

4. Communication is the most important part in this experience. We need to communication


well among the clients and team members to achieve the goal, and do not use own
perspective while handling the project as different people has different thoughts.

5.
a. Attitude : During the process, we need to be patient, to obtain the requirement
from the clients, and to show them our product (Microsoft clinic).
b. Goal Focused: Stay focus on the goal to build up a good quality product and
fulfilled the requirement listed out from the client.

6. Communication is the most important element in deliver ideas, managing projects,


maintaining relationship with clients.
