Meekness and majesty, Around me and within; Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

In perfect harmony, And shield my soul from sin. His dying crimson like a robe

Bow down and worship, Thou guardian of my soul. Demands my soul, my life, my all.

And in them plant mine own; his strength shall bear thy spirit up,

Be thou for ever near me,
My Master and my Friend: Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast, Take up thy cross and follow Christ,
I shall not fear the battle, Save in the death of Christ my God! nor think till death to lay it down;

Collect: Lord, you have taught us that all our doings without love are nothing worth: send your Holy Spirit and pour
into our hearts that most excellent gift of love, the true bond of peace and of all virtues, without which whoever lives is
counted dead before you. Grant this for your only Son Jesus Christs sake, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity
of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
