Winery launches centennial celebration

NAPLES, N.Y.- Widmer’s Winery released four new wines to kick off their

100th year anniversary on Saturday to commemorate on their success.

“Today’s celebration hasn’t just been a big day for the winery, but for the

town of Naples, New York. Everyone at Widmer’s Winery is proud of our New York

heritage,” said Charles Hetterich, President of the winery.

Widmer’s Winery president unveiled the new VIP area of the winery to begin

the day where Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand was in attendance. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, the

junior U.S. senator from New York honored Widmer’s success with a ribbon cutting


“It is an honor to partake in this milestone that Widmer’s Winery has

accomplished. The people of New York are proud to stand by our very own

nationally recognized winery.” Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand stated.

Widmer’s Winery is ranked the 34th best winery in the United States and is

marketed in 17 states.
