Workload analysis:

Perform workload analysis in SAP ECC systems for a week/month based on


Number of dialog steps/CPU Time and DB time
Identify the critical online, batch, RFC transactions & ETL/Process chains
which are business/resource critical
Simulate these transactions along with transactions that are in scope of
performance testing to simulate real life scenario

Database Side Analysis and DB Copy:

Collect CPU utilization metrics from DB server for a week/month and identify
the peak period
Conduct workload analysis in SAP ECC for the same period to identify the
online/Batch/RFC transactions
Simulate these transactions along with scope of performance testing
Perform a system copy from production to Quality environment

Multi-Geo Simulation:

Identify the locations across geographic location to evaluate the performance


of SAP CRM services
Setup Load Generators on each geo-location identified for the scope of
performance
Prepare test data volume required for each test executions (Load &
Endurance)
Run multiple rounds of performance test consisting load and endurance from
different location with over lapping time.

Noise Load:

Workload and DB performance analysis will help to identify the critical


online/Batch transactions
Simulate these as noise creation transactions along with the business critical
process during performance testing

On Device Performance Analysis:

Profile the identified 10 business critical scenarios for the Fiori mobile app.
Measure and analyze the page performance on devices such as analysis of
CSS, JS, DOM element analysis, component compression, caching analysis.
Measure and analyze the network-level performance under emulated
network condition such as 3G/4G, and capture page response time, load time,
no. of http/https requests/response per page, total round trip time
