Description:

To promote awareness of the United Nations among its students, the Social Studies
Department of Agusan Pequeo National High School will launched the United
nations month celebration with a showcase of talents of the various candidates for Mr.
and Ms. United Nations Ambassador 2015 . The pageant is intended to show and
enhance the talents and skills of the students , and also to raise funds for the projects
for the school audio-visual room .

Search for Mr. and Ms. United Nations Ambassador will show an overview of different
countries in one presentation. The presentation of national costumes will make the
students and audience to understand the difference of customs and traditions of every
country. This pageant will also test the confidence of every contestants and their
capability to think under pressure.

Audience of the pageant will surely appreciate the diversity of cultures and grasp the
purpose of celebrating United Nation week which is to make everyone stand and take
action.

The winners for this particular pre-pageant activity will be announced during the actual
pageant, dubbed as Mr. & Ms. United Nations Ambassador , that is to be held at the
APNHS cover court on the ____ st of October this year.
Objectives:

This project is adhered by the following objectives:

1. To make the students understand the importance of United Nations Organization,

thru representation of United Nation member countries in the pageant;

2. To help the students appreciate the cultural diversity of each nation;

3. To help the students develop self- confidence;

4. To instill the value of camaraderie and friendship among classmates, and the
school community.

Mechanics

1. Each section of every year level can have as many representatives/ participants
as they wants, as long as they are paired for Mr. & Ms. Search.

2. Each class/participants will have to pick the country that they will be presenting
for the Search for Mr. & Ms. UN Ambassador. (No duplication of countries
represented)

3. Each participants shall have to pay the registration amount of ______________.

4. Each representative should be able to prepare a talent.

5. Each representative should be dressed in their countrys national costume.

6. Each representative should prepare a casual wear.

Criteria for judging:

1. Talent 15%
2. Audience Impact 5%
3. National Costume 30%
4. Confidence 15%
5. Question and answer 25%
6. Casual wear 10%
