MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Successfully carried out capacity assessment in Rwanda in Ministry of Finance (as part of a larger team). I trained
and facilitated team activities through the following processes : Problem identification, Work planning and
Monitoring and Evaluation
Similarly facilitated teams in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, under the Office of the President in Liberia. My
recommendations helped to jump start major organizational change efforts. It was also along my
recommendations that a road map for the same was formulated. Further during my mission in Liberia, Specifically I:
o Trained staff and facilitated workshops to deepen Results Based Management and sharpen management
skills
o Introduced a culture of customer centricity
o Effectively implemented Rapid Results Initiatives after intensive interaction with Ministrys Leadership.
During sessions I assisted leadership to clarify challenge areas and agree on interventions within
specific time frames and budgets
o Created teams and facilitated the crafting of realistic and challenging goals and development of work
plans
o Coached teams during the implementation of the three month work plans
o Assisted teams to develop indicators and relevant monitoring and evaluation tools
o Built capacity of leadership and reform champions to identify and develop and scale up areas in order to
sustain momentum within the ministry
o Identified and trained Reforms Coaches/Champions to run with the program as an exit strategy
Successfully built the capacity of over 5,000 public servants and facilitated over 200 Rapid Results Initiative teams in
Kenyan Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies and Local Authorities, to achieve targeted results. Many
of these teams came up with innovations that re engineered systems within their institutions that ensure
sustainably better services to the public.
Developed and built strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels in government and in the private and public
sector, which led to improved and sustainable cooperation, through well thought out team membership in all
initiatives so far launched and completed.
Advised on crucial planning applications and worked with numerous ministerial teams to develop sound strategic
plans, long term and short term targets.
Developed institutional self assessment tools and various tried and tested monitoring and evaluation tools for use by
various teams
Developed and launched a successful national complaints handling system in the banking sector
