I declare to you this day, “Jesus is the

only way!”
To Be Like Jesus Christ Is NOT a Religion
The Catholic Church is not the way. The Methodist Church is not the way. The
Mormon Church is not the way.

There is no organization, group of people of any kind that is the way. They are all
merely vehicles of fellowship of the believers. Each individual in any organization
of religion has one main purpose: “To be conformed to His image (Jesus).” This has
nothing to do with religion but rather a union with God. Only then will we know
what life is all about. “We shall know Him because we shall be like Him.” Jesus
demonstrated while here on Earth in the flesh, the way we are to think, be, act
and do. God is all in all. If we would only get rid of all our religious hypocrisy and
pride, perhaps we could see the error of our ways. Whether we look at Jesus as
God or a man (I believe He is both) the goal should be the same – to be like Him.
If someone tells you to follow them don't unless his name is Jesus. That is what He
meant when He said “I am the way and the truth and the life!”

No matter what group you feel you are in right now: Catholic, Protestant, Mormon,
Jehovah's Witnesses, Buddhists, Shintoist, Charismatic Movement, Hindu, New
Age, Agnostic, Atheist, ETC, ETC, ETC – your purpose is to be like God, perfect in
all your ways. Jesus demonstrated this perfection while here on Earth. One day
you will look into a mirror and see yourself as only God wants you. You must seek
that perfection. It can only come about by being conformed into His image. Seek
now. Your eternal destiny is involved.

I have come to the realization that when I confessed Jesus as my Lord and Savior
some 36 years ago I became a part of God. It took that long to realize it. For 36
years the flesh was the main controlling factor. Now the main controlling factor
that I am consciously aware of almost all the time is the Holy Spirit of God. When
temptation comes, as it frequently does in our daily lives, The Holy Spirit within
me quickly takes control. As time goes by I fully expect that it will happen more
and more quickly until it is instantaneous.

I can now say “I am God” in the sense that I am part of God. (John 10:34, Psalm
82) The presence of God will be so great in me even to the point of His total
control, that I will be able to say that “It is not I but Christ that lives in me.” Even
Jesus had to die completely to the flesh before He could be the perfect sacrifice on
the Cross. Remember, He said, “Father, not my will but your will be done.” This
indicates He was not perfectly one with the Father. At that point he became
completely selfless and not until then. That gave us our perfect example of God's
eternal purpose for man. Not to die on a physical cross but to die to self.

There is no religion, organization or ritual that brings union with God. It is only by
taking on the character and nature of Jesus Christ and that can only happen by
surrendering to God Almighty.
