· Participated in a year-long service program between high school and college. Worked in inner-city
Atlanta with a program, 7 Bridges, that provided services to help homeless individuals with anything
from providing meals to getting individuals off of the streets. Also worked as a mentor to high school
students in a wealthy suburb, creating and planning mission trips into the city.

INDEPENDENT VOLUNTEER | GUYANA, SOUTH AMERICA | JAN. 2014
· Traveled with a friend to the interior Amazon Rainforest in South America for an independent service
trip. Stayed with local Christian community and provided meals to the poor and homeless, mentorship
to individuals with mental illness, and engaging programs for children.

MISSION YOUTH MISSIONS| CHICAGO, IL
· Participated in week-long mission work four consecutive years in a row during the week leading up to
Easter. Activities include: bringing meals and coffee homeless men and women before sunrise,
volunteering at soup kitchens, working with impoverished children and adults.
