• To support the Branch Manager with the operational needs of the Brendon Branch.
• To support the Branch Manager in providing training to teachers in good YL practice.
• To support the YL team in delivery of events.
• To teach up to 18 hours per week (plus a 2hr cover slot), ensuring quality and effective
teaching and learning of English at the Hanoi Teaching Centre.
• To line manage up to 3 teachers.

Geopolitical/SBU/Function overview:

Our newest Teaching Centre, located in the Brendon School, is a 10 classroom Young Learner
centre in a rapidly developing modern area of Western Hanoi. We opened in March 2012 and
have far exceeded initial targets, due to the very strong reputation of our courses, and the
popular location. You will be required to assist the Branch manager with the operational needs
of the teaching centre and help to supervise the work of administration staff to provide quality
courses and service to customers to meet our high standards and demanding business targets.
Teachers deliver up to 24 contact hours a week to a range of young learner classes, and all
staff are expected to work on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Brendon YL Coordinator will work as part of the Teaching Centre Management Team to
ensure continued growth. Alongside management of YL events, the post holder will be expected
to take on management duties such as line management, TYLEC course tutoring, assist in the
implementation of new products and act as management cover when the Branch Manager is

Hanoi.
