 Managed change within the manufacturing environment following the introduction
of robotic line equipment to increase speed and efficiency of operations,
minimising disruption to production and maintaining high levels of staff motivation
 Liaised with contractors, engineers and suppliers during the building of a £1m
extension in 1999/2000
 Negotiated best prices for raw materials with suppliers as one of the biggest
buyers of apricots from Turkey
 Rationalised the usage of packaging materials, standardising the sizes of
cardboard boxes across all three manufacturing sites, resulting in savings of
around 10%
 Standardised the size of Blue cheese manufactured across the three sites,
resulting in a 10% reduction of waste
 Sold surplus milk securing profits of £120K during 1997
